it's 1:35p here in Cali... Eisen/LaConfora/Lombardi are having a chucklefest on-air about the Dolphins! they've got a 'genius board' up in the newsroom... Miami is listed at "0" on the board (insert guffaws/tears/knee-slaps). friggin embarrassing.

These are the same people that fail at reporting. They spew **** from their mouths like it's a daily chore yet you are impacted by their chuckling?

Seriously, every article or main statement they make ends in a "?". That should say enough.

In NY on the FAN radi,o they were talking about making the playoffs and stated, even the lowest of franchises, the Miami Dolphins, the team nobody wants to play for has a chance once the season starts. It has gotten that bad in the media.

Not true. When an organization treats Zach Thomas and Yeremiah Bell they way they did and when a player is being questioned whether or not his mom is a prostitute that sends a strong signal that this is a bad place to play. Even Matt Flynn said the vibe is Seattle was much better then Miami. This is a real problem that won't end until Ireland is gone.

Zach Thomas was before Irelands time go fish. Y Bell while I agree from a financial stand point and putting you in a position that you can resign him before another team is smart business. Not saying that in employer/ employee relations I agree with that but how many times have we seen agents sock it to the franchises all over money. I liked . Now to review the Dez Brynat conversation below you will see that it was on Dez Bryant that intitiated the issue the way he handled the question. Dez said it Dad was a pimp and his mother worked for his Dad. Now its being put out there by a bunch of Dudes like Ireland just came out and asked the Dez if his mother was a hooker.

According to the sources, Ireland began the meeting by asking Bryant, 21, about his upbringing and his relationship with his siblings. How did the Texans treat Winston? Even further back, Tony Boselli. How did the 49'ers treat Jerry Rice? Hines Ward? Every team does this to aging players with high cap numbers.
This entire manufactured issue is silly. Joey Porter is whining, big deal. He was on the decline when the Phins gave him a lucrative deal and should be kissing this organization's butt instead of taking cheap shots

John Elway is the new FO genius for landing Peyton, yet nobody seems bothered how Tim Tebow was "treated." Talk about a dick. While the Broncos were winning, he would not even support his starting QB. And Ireland is a bad guy?

John Harbaugh is a great guy. He lied to his starting QB, that took them to the NFC Championship Game, and went and played catch with Peyton. Nobody has a problem with that. Just Ireland.

I would also like to add that oftentimes players (UFA's) lie to teams that are courting them. Ryan Clark gets the hypocrite of the yr award for questioning Ireland's integrity, when everybody knows that he used the Dolphins in order to drive up his price. He never had any intention of leaving the Steelers.
I also remember Olin Kreutz stringing along the Dolphins when all along he wasn't willing to leave Chicago. John Randle did the same thing when JJ tried to lure him to Miami.
I am sick of all these alleged players whining about the Phins F.O.
The NFL is a cold business and it cuts both ways. Ask Ty Law or Richard Seymour about how classy the Pats F.O is.
A franchise QB and winning fixes everything.

How can anyone be so sure Moore is destined to be backup Qb? Moore showed he might have what it takes to be a top 10 Qb in this league. Who's to say Matt can put together a top 10 finish this season? Dolphins were #1 team in the NFL with most 20+ yard plays. Moore has a great deep ball. What he was able to do last season was impressive.I'm wondering what can he do with a full training camp. I've feeling he may end up being a QB for quite a while. I like the idea of drafting QB and see if Moore can take it to next level. IMO- QB isn't our biggest problem coming into the off-season. Biggest issues were:

Right Tackle
Both Safeties positions (FS,SS)
Pass Rusher

and now add immediate help at Wide Receiver position.
