NFLPA to investigate Tua's return from concussion protocol

Coming from a guy with back issues spasms can bring you to your knees. I admit, the helmet hitting the ground could certainly cause that wobble as well but I'll trust what Tua says is real.
I have arthritis in my lower back and it’s common for me to stumble on occasion when I get up from lying down. I have to be careful to stand up carefully and make sure I am stable before trying to walk.

I realize I am much older than Tua and older individuals are more susceptible to falling or stumbling but my lower back issues have made the situation a lot worse than it was just a few years ago.

Lets be real here... Anyone really buying the back spasm? Come on now...
I kind of am. It is true that he got folded up backwards on the QB sneak, and the way he laid there on top of the defender, I thought he was hurt at that time. Add on the fact that he was cleared for a concussion by an independent doctor

Same. I have never felt something so intense as my back going out. As soon as they mentioned back spasm and I saw the stumble again I got it.

I mean some of the Bills players looked like they were shot from the grassy knoll and play resumed without issue so wtf

Well said.

Way to handle yourself to bro. You were respectful about that injury in the game thread to.

Appreciate it. You're all right in my book lol.
I was happy he came back. I didn’t want to see a Bills blowout Bridgewater. If that blowout was going to happen I want it against the starting QB.

Not going to lie I wanted to see the 34-38 shootout with Tua and Allen to see if he could trade blows with Allen. Just not the game we got so ooo well maybe next one I will get that game.

I thought it was a clear concussion at the time, but then I thought about it....

How many concussions have we seen over the years in the NFL? Way too many, frankly. But how many players have you seen wobble and dance like Tua did? I can't think of one. Combine that with the fact that an independent specialist said he was fine, then maybe the Fins are actually telling the truth here

Do you think someone paid off the third party, independent medical personnel? I mean Tua had to pass the exam, if a concussion was even the least bit suspected, does he not?

If he passed concussion protocol with the independent doctor, then there's no issue. If he didn't go thru that protocol because everybody assumed it was his back, still not Miami's fault. The concussion doc has to step in and insist to examine him.
