Dude is absolutely balling and was the teams highest rated player for the second week in a row. Flores and Boyer have a gem in this young man.

Also wanna give a shout out to Parker. Was lined up in M2M against T. White 5 times and caught all 5 for 88 yards and 4 FD. He balled out against a very good to elite CB.

If what fans are seeing is the 'real' Needham, Miami has 2 solid CBs. Still, need one more

Yes, one or even two more. This defensive scheme uses them lot. Would be nice in one of the young guys playing safety would emerge as a keeper also.
It's often said, "you can't have too many corners", and it is a truism.

Two starting caliber corners is not enough, and you are correct, it's more so true with this type of scheme, in today's pass prevalent league.

He looked like hot garbage in preseason, and now is playing like a legit starter 10 weeks later. If he continues to develop, we may be better off at CB than I thought 2 weeks ago
Yeah he did, but I figured there was something they liked about him. He was very physical in college. Not a lot of tape on the dude though. Apparently Boyer picked him out.

To your point, the kid obviously has mental toughness and moxie.

Even on that play that went for a TD, it was obvious he was playing underneath the way he sat down and expected McCain to come over to cover long. He can stick to his man very well. He's very agile with great hips. He can shadow guys really well because he is shifty and will stay with his man.

If there is one hope, Rowe looks better at safety than Corner. EASILY better than McCain
This topic was on several sports radio segments today. They all praised Flo. Apparently he sat Rowe down and had a heart to heart. Flo told Rowe he wasn't succeeding at corner and wanted to move him to safety cause he felt in his system Rowe would flourish.

I think we may have found something in this guy. Dude is balling out, might have a legit #2 cb next to X if he keeps this up, maybe our own Malcolm Butler.. Pair him, X, and someone like Kristian Fulton with one of our secondary picks in the 1st, we've got a legit CB tandem.

I was absolutely stunned he made the team after being abused in pre season. But I’ve been so impressed w him and his development. It’s a check in the “coaches know best” column w this kid.
PS - please put McCain in the slot where we paid him a gazillion dollars to play.
