Wow, Matt Moore hasn't even had a full season with the dolphins and everyone wants to dump him. lol My god Henne had so much support in his seasons with the fins for doing nothing. Also Matt's preseason game wasn't bad at all, he had a pass that was tipped and intercepted. He sure as hell didn,t have any help from the wr's. I personally think the only rookie QB that should start with anyone would be Luck but thats just how i feel.

Moore is just average...There is no deep playoff run potential with him...

Basically starting him is a wasted season.

Yep. Its amazing really. The guy has easily been the best QB we had start a decent number of games in a row since the beginning of the last decade. Scratch that, aside from Pennington.

Nevertheless, Im totally with you. Ive been wondering what gives around here. I guess its just because he wasnt drafted by the phins. Ive noticed anyone this team drafts is like the greatest ****ing player ever until they blow for about 3 years straight. People still think Clyde Gates should make the team.

You couldnt tell anyone Henne blew without getting bashed by a handful of people until 0-7 last year. John Beck.... GEEZ.

Its really amazing sometimes. Hell, you still cant convince some people that Pennington was legit and couldve started for us for about 3 or 4 more years had he not had a shoulder glued on with elmers.

Matt Moore is a good player. His problem is on occasional plays, instead of just looking bad, he will look real bad. Thing is, a lot of those plays there is no harm in it. The difference in missing by a little and missing by a lot is of no consequence. The guy makes just as many good plays as most good QBs do. Hell a 3 TD pass game this team hadnt seen in ages till Matt Moore last year. He's a good player. IMHO he's a decent NFL starter and about 15 teams in this league would be doing good to have him as their starter.

Matt Moore is a Back up. We start him we go 5-11 Sorry I'm looking for the next Dan Marino. XD. So happy Tannehill looks like a lock to start Week 1

WV, you of all people should understand that there is no love (or little love) for Matt Moore around here because he just can't get us over the hump. It is without question, he is the best qb we've had since Pennington, even though that is like being the smartest kid on the short bus, but there is no future with Matt Moore.

Why dick around with someone who has no shot at taking us where we need to go. Start Tannehill... if hes good, we are set. If he sucks, in two years give up and try again.

Thats another thing everyone says, he cant get us over the hump. What hump? He hasnt had a hump to get us over yet. He started last year in the hole. Give em a break.

There's no future with Moore. He's just a solid back-up. We're not making the playoffs this year. I'm ready to start the future now.

If you wouldve read my Get Real thread the other day, you would already know that Im in favor of starting Tannehill and have been even before camp started. Im just saying Matt Moore is pretty ****ing good and a **** ton of people sleep on that dude. In fact, its so bad some people hate on him. Worse than that, most people felt he shouldnt have started over DAVID ****ing GARRARD. GET REAL!

I just dont get it. The guy played WELL for us last season. He played well despite having Sparano as HC for most games and the team started 0-7 in large part due to Sparano. Henne couldnt have dreamed of playing as well as Moore did. Yet, it was a crime to ever bash Henne or Beck or any of these other bums we had until they were long gone.

Im telling you its just because we draft guys. If Matt Moore had been drafted by us, dosent matter what round either, he couldve been a 7th round pick, people on here would swear hes ****ing Joe Montana and be pissed off that we drafted Tannehill. True story.

Yep. Im telling you right now we make the playoffs last year if Moore had started from week 1 like I said. But, stupid Sparano had to start Henne. I think we could make the playoffs this year with Moore starting. Id still rather start Tannehill, but I wouldnt be pissed if Moore started.

I like Matt Moore a lot and I'm glad he's on our team.

But we just drafted a QB #8 overall. He is going to start for us at some point. I'd like to find out if he's got the goods sooner rather than later.

Dude, why are you replying by stating something I totally agree with and do it in a way that suggests my opinion differs from yours? I say that because you have that BUT at the beginning of your last line. Dude, I said the exact thing in my get real thread. I want Tannehill to start.

Woops, hit reply with quote by accident instead of just reply. Was really directed at the thread starter.

As for why some other folks don't think much of Matt Moore, I think some of it has to do with the fact that we've been burned by so many crappy QBs since Marino that people are actually conditioned to assuming that our QBs are gonna suck. I think a lot of fans have just been beaten into pessimism by default. Watching year after year of Chad Henne, Daunte Culpepper and Cleo Lemon will do that to you.

WV, if Matt Moore was pretty ****ing good he'd still be the starter in Carolina.
He is an excellent backup and a average starter, the thing is taht he has reached his ceiling, Tannehill simply has more potential.
And more people are simply going to favor the drafted kid because well, thats how you get your franchise QB. You dont settle for journeymen.
Franchise QBs dont hit free agency, and when they do, this organization says "meh"
