No love for Matt Moore?

Think 2003 NBA draft. Lebron and Melo (Darko excluded) were the popular picks. Wade was the forgotten one and set out to prove a point that he should be mentioned in the same breath as Lebron and Melo. Tannehill needs the same mindset.

Mattt has done so much for us, and salvaged our season last year. I don't understand how everyone calls him a "Back up", when he hasnt had a decent chance to play as a starter. Henne sucked, and we gave him almost three years to prove nothing. Tannehill hasn't proved nothing, but I like him. But Moore deserves a chance..!!

Moore's a good player. He has intangibles, he's got the backing of the team, he's a leader and I like the fact that he's not afraid to throw deep which he did at twice the rate of Henne. My issue with Moore, and I said this as soon as Philbin was hired, is that his ball placement isn't great. For example the pass that Chad Johnson dropped should have been leading Chad into the middle of the field to give him a chance to get some yards after catch...that pass is a staple of the WCO. Chad should still have caught it and he probably would have fallen to the ground to avoid the hit anyway but Moore's ball placement has always been a sticking point with me. He's a good QB, he can win games, I would prefer he start over Garrard personally but I remember Moore when he was here in Carolina. He came in for Delhomme and lit it up and then the next year had some nagging injuries and was woefully ineffective as the starter and was replaced by Jimmy Clausen (who flat out sucks) which led to Carolina picking Cam Newton.
