Not to beat a dead horse, but tannehill again

Sorry I'm focusing on a glaring deficiency that generally determines the fate of your franchise. If you want to toil in mediocrity that's fine but many of us are tired of it.

Im sorry your blind hate for your 'favorite team' has made you feel like you have to root for the opponent. . Im sorry your bitterness eliminates you from having hope that a second year QB can still improve. And I guess even though most of yhe time it takes 3years to fully implement a coaches system, a year and a half is all we should give Philbin and RT. Yup time to hit RESET! How long should we give the next regime? Let's make sure yo give them just half a season next time because youre tired of the growing pains.

Don't lose track about the scope of this thread. He still struggles mightily with the 30+ yard throws. His short game, especially slants, come backs and out routes are as good as they get.

This. If he can right those types of throws, we have something. He played well today in the second half, let's see if he builds on it to end the season.

he's not even below average in deep ball accuracy compared to every other NFL QB... give it a rest...

Why wait? It is blindingly obvious that Tannehill is missing throws repeatedly today. This game should be 21-0.

Based on this argumentation - Luck should have put up 35 pts but Vinaterie has all 15 pts until Donald Brown's 6 on the plunge

So when we win, the glaring weaknesses no longer exist? I'm just trying to understand how the thought process works for those posters who live in the land of unicorn farts and rainbows...

I forgot every other qb hits every deep pass they ever throw.

Appreciate the lesson today.

So you don't see the 2-3 throws a game that would normally be td's or at least 40+ yard completions that should be made but aren't due to poorly thrown deep balls? That's ok to you when we are talking about the franchise qb?

Take a peek at the scoreboard or scorecard - Tanny is fine and about where he should be for a 2nd year QB - considering the shambles of this O - WHO is your Offensive MVP so far this season? Who was the MVP of this game the last game the game before and the game before that...., and the game before that.... It was Tanny!

Luck is the one regressing if anything - and Luck isn't regressing either - but if you live by stats alone - Luck shoud be looking over both his shoulders - but here is the deal - no one wants to catch his throws in Indy - yet he cannot put up points

We all see them, but there's something called perspective..

EVERY QB MISSES DEEP BALLS EVERY GAME.

Would you know Tom Brady throughout his career is below 30% completion percentage in balls thrown over 25 yards, I think it's actually closer to 25%. I bet you didn't.

Apparently former nfl qb's who have had success in the league are off the mark too, right? I guess you missed the part about me saying it's what he needs to correct to elevate his game to the next level? If course every constructive criticism thread is grounded in pure hate of a player. GTFO of here.

explain to me how tannehill played bad today...and don't tell me he missed a pass.

Noones excusing Tannehill for his deep throws. We all know he needs to work on it. But when people start getting tunnel vision and nit picking every minuscule thing he does wrong it gets a tad bit facetious.
He played a solid 2nd half got them the win along with the WRs doing what they need to do.
If what he needs to work on is just his long ball I'm a happy camper, his short to intermediate throws are already money.

The bottom line is this: in the offseason, Ryan Tannehill needs to work on deep ball accuracy damn near everyday. Keep practicing that **** til you get it. Throw as many as it takes. That's how you improve and grow. If he does that, we have a damn good QB going forward. His pocket presence, something everyone was killing him for earlier in the season, has improved DRASTICALLY, as his escape of the pocket several times, including his 18-yard scramble for a 1st, shows. So if he can just get better with those longer range throws, we'll have something potentially special. I don't know how anyone can be objective and disagree with that. Its pretty clear at this point.
