Love Foles, but for what we are planning with the salary dump and tank, doesnt make sense to bring him in with his price tag for 1 tank year.

I could stomach it a hell of a lot easier than another 8-8 (+/-1) mediocre season. My only concern would be that Osweiler gets us to 6 wins by sheer luck.

Correct. If they're going to rebuild with younger players then he would make no sense at all.

I like Foles but if the intent is to build from the bottom up this time around a high priced QB is not the answer. Bring in a place keeper and draft our future leader

I will always root for us to win on game day but if we lose lots of games and get our guy in 2020 I will not be mad.

I do not understand the reasoning here, but +200 is still not anything close to a high probability.

It's not what I want us to do, but I could see it as a possibility, only because of his contract situation.

He has a 20 mil cap # next year, but after that, he is under contract for 2 years at next to nothing. No doubt that will be renegotiated, but it would be a short term rental regardless.
