Oddsmakers Think Nick Foles Will Land In Miami Next Season

I could stomach it a hell of a lot easier than another 8-8 (+/-1) mediocre season. My only concern would be that Osweiler gets us to 6 wins by sheer luck.

To try and clear up what I mean, I'm all for building from the ground up without Foles or Osweiler. Throw Fales or Falk back there or grab a QB in rounds 2-3 to see if we hit on some magic.

You never know, Flores has been having to scout our team for years. Maybe he thinks we don't have to blow it all up?

If we really want to pick high in 2020 sign Malik Rosier out of Miami as an undrafted free agent and start him. That will do it :)

Where might Nick Foles play football in 2019? According to the latest odds, he’s favored to be under center for the Miami Dolphins.

SportsLine shared the latest odds put out by BetDSI Sportsbook:

  • Miami Dolphins +200
  • Washington Redskins +250
  • Jacksonville Jaguars +350
  • Denver Broncos +400
  • Philadelphia Eagles +600
  • New York Giants +1000
  • Oakland Raiders +1500
  • Carolina Panthers +2000
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2000

He would not survive behind our oline

Groundhog day???

Not this time my friend. See, there isn't anything left to blow up. There is no single unit, aside from the kicker/punter combo, that stands out as a strength. You can possibly make a case for secondary, but even there we have a big hole, and no depth. Maybe a lot of it was scheme.

I'm a Canes fan as well and to phrase this nicely I've seen about as much of Malik Rosier as I would like for my lifetime...even in tank mode.

There's one thing thats absolutely certain about FA QBs, no matter how well he performs, you're not getting a 5 year rookie salary discount.

Jags Skins and Broncos all make more sense to me.

But maybe that’s cuz I just don’t want him in Miami.

That would be surprising, especially with the latest news that Miami is rebuilding and looking to get a high draft pick --- presumably for the qb of the future.

He’s nothing special, but he’s better than Tannehill, so he would be fine, especially without Gase’s shitty play design and lack of adjustments.

Still don’t want him. Mediocre at best.

Replacing Burke and the wide9, fixing our oline and getting a qb who can at least mitigate some sacks by throwing the ball away would go a long way.

Exactly. Use this year to try to solidify the trenches, let players play out their last year out ( i said in another thread roughly 40mil comes off the books), and focus on trying to develop our talent that we do have in a new scheme.
