Lee Leads Astros to 6-1 Win Over Marlins
Carlos Lee made good on a promise to his fans. Lee, nicknamed "El Caballo" or "The Horse," received a stick horse from the fans who call themselves "Los Caballitos" before Tuesday's game and vowed he'd ride it if he hit a homer.
The 240-pound slugger hit a two-run shot and drove in two more runs to lead the Houston Astros to a 6-1 win over the Florida Marlins.
The home run to the Crawford Boxes in left field off Jorge Julio put Houston ahead 2-1 in the fourth. Lee trotted around the bases and then galloped through the dugout on the stick horse while receiving congratulatory pats from his teammates.
"I promised them that I would do it and I did it," he said with the furry horse peeking out of his locker over his right shoulder.
Lee's offensive burst helped Astros ace Roy Oswalt improve to 3-0. He was pitching on short rest and allowed one run Hanley Ramirez homered on his third pitch and six hits in 6 1-3 innings.
"That was vintage Roy," Astros manager Phil Garner said. "He did a masterful job."

honestly, marlins need to pick it up started 4-2 now going to be 6-8
2-6 over the past 8 games is horrible what happened to the offense i saw over the first games of the season
WAKE UP MARLINS get out of that funk and actually do something with all that youth and talent on the team you should be able to be a good if not great team

Every team is going to go through struggles. We have three starters on the DL (Nolasco, Johnson, Mitre) you guys expect a little to much at the moment IMO.
Anyway it was nice to get two straight wins after the losing streak.

it doesn't help that Olsen has been flat out horrible as well. Luckily, he only lost to Atlanta 2 weeks ago.

Olsen doesn't seem to have that nasty break on the slider he had last year, but he has battled and is more composed so when he does get that slider back the league should watch out because he will dominate.
Anyway where is Willis pitch count so far? Anyone know? With this lead I'm hoping he can go 7 or so innings.
