Official 2007 Florida Marlins Thread

miami is a disgrace to baseball...the game last nite was empty...yet they say they will show up if in downtown miami

Well, I usually go to at least 5 games per year or so. I'm a Marlins fan who will watch them when I'm home, and surely when the D-Train is pitching. However, sitting in the stadium for a baseball game is awfully boring. I simply cannot do it more than very rarely. In 2003, I went to two playoff games (wins) and was bored stiff until the 9th inning.

I go to every home Fins game, and probably 15-20 Heat games if not more.

Good grief did Miggy just take that ball DEEP. That's one of those shots that makes you giggle out of pure fear.

Wooo... walk-off 3-run shot by Willingham in the bottom of the 9th to win 3-0. Mitre pitched a great game, the best game a Marlin has pitched this season.

I didn't see the game last night, but I have to say, Jorge ****in Julio...

And Reggie Abercrombie is garbage. He's a horrible outfielder, and a horrible hitter. I don't know why we brought him up. He let that inside the park homer happen...

Man I really can't wait until De Aza and Jacobs come back, then when Josh Johnson comes back the league should watch out.

This would be my lineup for when they come back.

1) De Aza
2) Hermida
3) Ramirez
4) Cabrera
5) Jacobs
6) Uggla
7) Willingham
8) Olivo

You could even possibly hit Hermida leadoff with his skill set and hit Uggla second.

When are they supposed to be back?
