Miami just may take Troy Smith, but not necessarily as a quarterback. He's a nautral athlete, so he could be converted to something else, like receiver.

Baltimore Ravens just snatched him up though.

I saw quite a few comments stating Miami did not regard Brown as highly as Staley. Staley had better physical tools and did not come with the "lazy" tag. He was also a better fit for our scheme in these same opinions.
