Good finisher in the paint on pick and roll, cuts, etc. Very solid post defender, though not much of a shot blocker. Just not a whole lot of negatives about his game. We'd still need to get a shotblocker at center though. Wonder if the staff has any interest in Javale McGee who'd be a perfect fit. Doubt Collins would want to put up with his stupidity though, then again they did just sign Nick Young.

From the few Bucks games that I saw last year, he was a solid all around player. I play fantasy basketball, and he was great on my team for most of the season lol.

Cutting Brand makes room for the young guys, as you just stated in your post. No point in having Brand when the 76ers love Moultrie and want him to get PT from day one. Plus they may go after Humphries or Ilyasova, but I personally hope not. Maybe Ilyasova, but just not a fan of Humphries. I'd prefer to just roll with Moultrie who's a terrific athlete and rebounder.

I guess I've just never understood this half in half out attitude that so many NBA teams seem content employing. What's the point in striving to field a team that maybe can win a playoff series?
 
Looks like we traded an undisclosed future draft pick for Dorrell Wright. Depending on the pick, it's a good deal since Wright only has one year left. Good luck in L.A. or wherever Mr. Iguodala.

I heard this a little while ago. It would seem like the Sixers have another move in them, but the organization really likes Iggy, so it should be interesting.
 
Justin Holiday has looked good in Summer League. Would be pretty cool if he made the roster being he's Jrue's brother but probably a long shot. Jacob Pullen also looked good. I remember him scoring a lot of points for KSU. Sucks that Harkless, Moultrie, and Vucevic are all injured. Lavoy too.

I remember seeing Pullen when he was at Kansas St., he was always a good scorer. I would have liked to see some of the young guys in summer league, but it happens. I thought Lavoy couldn't play because he wasn't officially signed, is he injured?

That's true. I guess he'll play the next couple games then since he's now signed.

That is great news if it really happens. I thought he did a solid job in Portland, which was a surprise when they let him go a couple years ago.

I also saw a few days ago that Collins want to have the starting front court of Brown and Hawes. Not sure how I feel about that yet.
