When I heard people talking about P. Jones as a top-10 pick, I was beside myself. This kid doesn't have the tools to justify that kind of selection. But to get him where OKC did? Now that is a value. He'll be able to contribute with D, running the floor, picking him scrappy baskets, etc. And there's no pressure on him to develop his offensive game in the first 1 or 2 seasons. And he gets to learn behind Durant. Ideally, I think he adds some muscle and some post moves, and he plays the 4. That's crazy good value.

As far as Sullinger, I kind of feel like he belongs to the old NBA, where offenses threw the ball into the post, there was no 5 second rule, and a guy with a big enough ass could back his defender under the rim. I don't know that he has the athleticism to be a major contributor in today's NBA. But again, those are most criticism I would have had for him as a top-10 pick. As a guy who went in the early 20s, I think the value is very good, and maybe you do get a guy who can give you 17-21 and 8-11.

sullingers got no lift...i don't see the same quick feet that big baby has either...that said he's got range on his jump shot so the 15-20 footer i think he can drill and he's got a much better post game repertoire and scoring game than big baby does...i think sully though is gonna struggle defending the pick and roll in this league

heck i think with his shooting form sully might be able to in time drill nba 3 pointers...and he's got good form on his foul shots and unlike a lot of bigs can hit them as well...

How's the weather treating you hoops? Finally got power back after 5 days...

I agree Sullinger is an old school player. I think he can be a good, not great player though. Offensively that is, and on the glass. I wouldn't expect much at all from him defensively.

Been trying to catch up on all the news. Apparently Dwight added us to his list... And it looks like the Nets could be out of it since they just took on the worst contract in the league. How Billy King still has a job is the most amazing thing I've ever seen, easily.

I am thinking that it's the Nets or nobody with Dwight. Even if they can't make a deal this year, Dwight will play that last year in Orlando, and then probably go to the Nets.

wow...5 days without ac in this heat...that blows...i lost power in both storms got my power back both times roughly 24 hrs later...didn't stop me from going out and buying a generator though...i don't do well with 90 plus degree heat and heavy humidity and no ac...west end of richmond and my area short pump got hit pretty darn hard...

love the jason terry signing...exactly what we need...off the bench scoring...just shocked that terry with what he still has left in his game only commanded the full mle...$5 mil per

I'll be pissed if we bring back Lou. His inefficiency is disgusting.

Dear god don't even bring that up.

Seriously though, Hawes being back wouldn't piss me off so much if it was for a one year deal. He's a decent backup option who shown he can be very good last year before the injury. But 2 years? Stupid. Just stupid.

I completely agree, but unless the Sixers do something surprising, it looks like he'll be the starting Center next season.

i think it doesn't speak well for vucevic if hawes is getting resigned for 2 years at that money...at least not in the short term...that said who else on that roster can play center???
