LOL @ you completely disregarding FG %. From reading your previous posts, I thought you were smarter than that.

Game 1 - 8/21, 38%
Game 2 - 6/16, 38%
Game 3 - 15/37, 41%
Game 4 - 6/22, 27%

One game over 40%, that's a damn shame, and let's not forget he took 37 shots in that game as well. :shakeno:

Vince Carter averaged 27.5 points a game with the Nets on .462 shooting with 2.56 Turnovers a game, he also averaged 21.7 shots per game in the regular season.

In the playoff series with the Heat he averaged 26.8 points per game on .365 shooting with 3.75 turnovers per game, and he averaged 24 shots per game.

He under-performed in every category as apposed to Wade OVER-performing in every category.

Anderson and E. Jones shut him down really....about as well as you can shut down a premier player.......

Or did Vince just choke?

I think The Sun Sentinal is trying to help those out that ran out of toilet paper.

That is possibly the dumbest article I have read this year.

I agree. You've heard it said that opinions are like buttholes - everybody has one?

It's just that you don't often see a butthole having a butthole; kind of like a dog owning a dog - it just seems wrong.

The only game Vince had a brutal FG% was game 4 but you have to remember he was hounded all series long. All the focus of Miami was on him, that will not be the case nxt year.

Not really, the man was still a big factor in keeping games close. His % was down a bit but ouside of 1 game it wasn't that bad and he put up big point totals, rebs & Assists. If his % was low and he wasn't doing anything else then i'd agree but he was getting boards and dishing out assists. Again, he wasn't Zo like in his performance but not many players are that great

You do realize that you are comparing a backup defensive specialist to a franchise player right?

Why don't you compare him to Wade? Huh?

:rofl3:

Vince suffers from testicular shrinkage......while Wade has elephantitus.

wade also has Shaq to take just a little pressure off him, don't you think? Against the nets Wade had 2 great games but 2 mediocre games where he shot 31 & 35% but it's ok when wade does that and not Carter, right?

Defensive specialist who had one brief moment of success in the conf finals and did the rest of his "great play" in garbage time which is exactly why he didn't play down the stretch in game 7. He's a choker, always has been and always will be.

All we need to do now is resign Damon Jones and we will win the championship.

Why all this hate? You keep getting your lousy arguments rebuffed so you try to insult another player?? Its always ok when a player shoots 6-17 and goes to the free throw line 12 times making 10 of them. Add in the minor fact that player also dishes out 8 assists and gets 10 boards and I wouldnt refer to that as a mediocre game. But of course compared to Vincesanity, who we all know is the second coming in Net's fan's eyes, nothing Wade could do is worthy of mention.

And btw I do love Carter, he helped bring us a championship so there is no animosity. But he does have the annoying tendancy to get "injured" when things arent going in the right direction for him. But as long as the Nets keep winning, and Kidd keeps giving him the ball, he'll be happy.
