Not a Tannehill fan-boy, but not a hater; however, Patrick Mahomes showed more electricity in one game than Tanny has shown in his whole career. Mahomes will be the next Aaron Rodgers very soon. Plus, Darnold looked like the better QB today. Josh Allen looked like he has “it” as well. I watched all three games today in increments and that’s my conclusion. Gase really needs to run the ball more and dumb this offense down if Tanny is going to be at least Alex Smith.

Oh good, another flavor of the month we'll hear about foreve based on one game.

There was more to like in that first half than half of the games last season. Wilson's TD and the bodies on the line Defence at the end of the 1st half were particularly nice to see

Win on the road is a total bonus. Rookie QB hype proved unfounded. Great record. I just hope it proves the team is onwards and upwards and making waves and it's not a false dawn. Gase needs to grow a pair when you are 3 scores up. To me he is a coach that plays the system and doesn't give the players freedom to put the foot down and extend the lead. He's safe but leaves back door open to the opposition.

In addition Tannehill had a QB rating of 123.1 while being sacked 4 times for 46 yards.

People ragging on Tannehill after that game, that's puzzling. I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell that we would have won that game with Matt Moore or Jay Cutler.

Receivers were not getting open and the pass protection was not particularly good. Thankfully, we got the best pass protection of the day on that 3rd and 19 to ice the game. The Jets brought the house and they actually blocked everyone and the center of the line anchored well. Very concerned that even then, nobody could get open except for the check down.
This constant "blame everybody except Tannehill" has to stop after 6 years (5 playing years). He played a good game today but he ought to be held accountable like everybody else when he screws up. The scoreless 2nd half is on him just as it is on other players and the coaches.
20 points is not some great accomplishment and even Moore and Cutler can accomplish that (neither one is with the team anymore just in case you haven't realized that yet).

The win today is on the D. They held the Jets off the scoreboard in the first half helping us getting a 20-0 lead and only allowed 1 TD and 2 FGs when or entire offense sucked in the 2nd half (including Tannehill).

You are absolutely correct. Tannehill and Gore did come up aces on that final drive though. That's how you put the dagger in the Jets little black hearts!

If Ryan Tannehill puts up a 123.1 passer rating every week with guys blanket covered, then you can blame him all you want... he'll be getting an Aaron Rodgers big contract extension.

Guys weren't getting open. This team needs Devante Parker back on the field and it needs Mike Gesicki to develop QUICKLY.
