RGIII, he gets cut I would take a chance on him as our #2 rather than the guys we currently have. I don't want to give away any draft picks for Teddy if the jets are demanding but if he's cut I'm all for it.
Also Peterman in Buffalo has looked really good this preseason ..however not sure he would be cut.
Who would you bring in?

Pittsburgh will have to release a quality back up in Josh Dobbs or Landry Jones(I think.)

Dobbs is my pick. Good potential

I honestly don't get the obsession with a backup QB. This is a terrible team all around and if Tannehill goes down there is no QB - who is available right now or after cuts or via trade - who could save this season. Tannehill is absolutey - as hoops put it - mission critical. If Tannehill gets injured we are going to pick very early next year. With that we will draft our new QB and he will sit & learn behind Tannehill for a year before taking over. And we would still have our early 3rd round pick because we haven't thrown it away this year just to get another body behind Tannehill who won't take this team anywhere.

(Disclaimer: I absolutely do not want the team to fail or Tannehill get injured. Just in case somebody might come to this conclusion after reading my post.)

Backup QB is not going to make or break this season. We might be decent if Tannehill stays healthy (based on the posters here) but if he goes down, none of those QB's are going to help.

Gase said yesterday that the #2 QB is on the roster. Ugh

I would think that the #2 QB should always be competition for the #1 QB. Nothing like that is on the roster at this time.

I'd love for us to grab Landry Jones. Perhaps Kizer or Hundley gets cut? Mike Glennon. I think everyone of those guys would be an upgrade at back up QB.

Hundley is horrid. Mike Glennon is not a bad option.

But Ryan goes down it’s pointless. The whole ship goes down.

And thIs defense can’t carry us unless the mike lb play gets a whole hell of a lot better.

It’s bad when your 2nd most mission critical is your mike lb and said lb is underwhelming.

X has immediately jumped to 3rd on the mission critical list cause without him this boundary cb group gets torched.

do the Eagles ring a bell, or any Shula team, you got to have a guy can win a meaningful game as a backup, I agree Thill is crucial but we shouldn't have to flush the season if he misses a few games...plus how many backups have beaten us in recent years, too many to remember
