I like CC. However, he really hasn't shown toughness in the middle of the field, ever since Kennoy drilled him in Denver 3 years ago. Plus, CC has not really shown the gumption to make the clutch catch the way McDuffie used to. Part of the above has been quarterback incompetence. Nevertheless, Chambers needs to improve in these big areas.
What I would like to see: Miami down by 6 with less than a minute to play on the road in the cold and he makes a tough go-to catch and scores to win the game. We just haven't seen any semblance of this from Chambers.
I do like the kid alot and I hope he takes his game to the next level. Right now, he is what he is, which is a 2nd tier number one receiver, who is good for 880 yards and won't make many "go-to" plays.
