and Tannehill looked HOF material lol

if you believe that the patriots lost on purpose then you are 100% an idiot

The destruction of the Patriots' OL in pass protection was a controlled demolition.

Whoever the new coach is needs to shut that B up or Grimes can pay a fine. Her antics have proved to be detrimental to the team and that crosses a line for me. Get your wife under control Brent. Problem is she can probably kick his a$$.

If you think New England, the Gold Standard and sole proprietor of the AFC East, would intentionally lose a game when they actually have something to play for, then you really need to check yourself into a facility before you do something to hurt yourself.

You don't lose when there's something meaningful at stake, like the top seed in the AFC. No, you lose when you're the Dolphins, a team that never has anything to play for in December/January except for draft positioning, but you irresponsibly win the game anyway.

I'm pretty sure the Patriots lost on purpose against the NY Jets when they elected to kick off in overtime. They were trying their damnedest to keep the Steelers out.

If the NY Jets won against the Bills, they would have been in and the Steelers would have been out. But Ryan Fitzpatrick ruined all that, and the Steelers took care of business.

It was kind of odd the Patriots ran so much in the early going - perhaps this is what they gameplanned, anticipating being able to run down Miami's throats.

My god, it's like people think Bill is a first-year coach. Like they've forgotten that in half the time he's already twice the coach Don Shula ever was.

<ducks>

They ran heavily against us because our run defense sucks and they didn't want to expose their HOFer QB behind a fragile OL.

In the end, their game plan didn't work out and ended up having to pass more, which led to Brady getting his ass kicked by our DL. They basically underestimated us and ended up losing the game. Not that hard to understand.

Fixed that for ya

Only 2 plays changed that game. Parker's circus-catch, and Tannehill finally deciding to run when the seas part like Moses did it.

If that game mattered to Miami, he would've stood there like a statue waiting to get sacked. Also, Parker would've not caught that ball.
Unfortunately, the game actually did matter to Miami, and they found a way to produce a harmful outcome once again. What did they cost themselves, about 4-5 spots of draft order?

2 spots actually.

It was actually a very good gameplan. Edelman was out, Amendola was not at full strength, they're mangled at the RB position, and their OL is decimated with injuries, so they have to keep Gronk in to block a lot more than they want to.

They had a gameplan designed to protect Brady, play good defense, and wait for us to lose the game. They waited for us to give them an easy score (we gave them one) and then dared Ryan Tannehill to beat them with single-high safety looks. Well, he did, and we won the game.

If Brady didn't play I could believe that but he was in the whole way taking hard hits. Miko is wrong.

The idea that the Patriots would rather play the Steelers than the Jets is also laughable. If anything, it's the exact other way around. Look at the history of NYJ and Pitt vs the Patriots the last few years.

That or maybe its payback for week 12 and one more opportunity to have Peyton end the season empty handed??
