Pete Prisco: 7-9 for Dolphins

i give it the bye week before santonio holmes publicly complains about the offense and his lack of looks...the bye week

no you brought Tim in to step in if Sanchito struggles. not to be the best punt protector in the league

why wouldn't we bring in a QB to do that? there were a bunch of solid backup types that are real QBs available.

so what you are insinuating is that Tim now isn't a quarterback for the New York Jets? You did bring in a QB to do that...

... I've read this sentence over about 10 times and I still can't figure out what the hell you mean.

when you're running draw plays on 3rd and 15 remember we told you...i've got 4 years of sparano...conservative is in his nature...it's not gonna change as oc...that said sanchez needed you guys to take some pressure off of him...just be ready to be frustrated with the offensive mindset and identity when you try to put 20 play scoring drives together and brady bangs you for 3 play 75 yard td burgers while your safeties trail by 5 yards...all while sparanos jumping around like a jack rabbit after successful fgs...

I have little doubt he'll pout at times.

he was brought here to play a role, that role is not as a regular QB. if sanchez gets hurt he'll have to but if Sanchez gets hurt our season is over.

Tebow is not a real QB, he wasn't brought here to be a real QB except in an emergency.

last I checked Sparano wasn't your OC and didn't call plays. I expect a tough, physical O that runs the ball and takes shots down the field. We'll see what happens.

Brady has made a living bleeding defenses to death, he rarely hits big plays on us.

Oh ok ok. I agree with you about that. I think people are being silly saying Sanchez will actually be sat for him. No way Rex is that boneheaded.

Also, Sparano actually had the authority (and used it more often than you'd think) to override plays on the offense to "ride momentum".

last you checked you were a super bowl contender in 2011...i saw the decisions sparano made as head coach and they all reeked of playin not to lose instead of playin to win...that crap doesn't work in this league...and beli and brady are licking their chops to go after your safeties...when the o bogs down in the red zone and the play calling becomes too predictable you'll see...you might deny it but you'll see...

and with that i am done talking jets in this thread...

Jets are a helluva lot closer to the Bills and Fins than they are to the Patriots. :hump:

Well this year the Bills have Wannstache coaching. Don't think thats gonna help them much.

you said that 2 years ago too, how did that work out?

On the other hand, last year I also said the jest would be a losing team. That would have worked out well if not for a Tony Romo last minute brainfart.
