Philbin has sit down meeting with Matthews

Some of you hold a 5th wr in to high a regard. Matthews is in a put up or shut situation.

Oh, and the worries NE will pick him up, are insane. If he can not
get Miamis playbook, I see nothing that says he will get NE playbook, or team rules.

Some of you people here are ****ing nuts.

Look a lot of football players are dumb, is teams cut every player because they weren't smart they would have a terrible team. Some of the best football players in the world aren't the smartest people. Wasn't there a story out there that a WR had to ask the QB where to go before every play... and that WR was pretty damn good? I can't recall the names. Anyway my point is this... it's obvious this kid can play as he made some good plays when he was on the field. You don't cut or trade that.... you COACH IT! I'm glad philbin is giving him a chance to correct his behavior that's called coaching. Some players mature and grow up over time... Micheal Irvin, Chris Carter, Randy Moss... this list goes on and on. People need to understand that and work with it. Not get rid of it.

Eventually the player has to start "getting it". Its that pesky thing called professionalism.

There was a decent WR who had to ask help on plays...Nacho Stinko.

Mathews is the candidate for a training camp trade, hopefully a LB to provide depth.

Based on what? SB winning WRs with superior skill sets have gone for 5th rd picks...you hoping for a 7th?
