Because Ricky said himself that he only wants to play 2 more years.

TorontoFin said:well, I'm not worried aboout feeley. After all, in madden '05, I got him up to a 96 rating, won 2 SB in 4 years,a nd been named NFL MVP.
DolFan31 said:I like Feeley and dont take this as a personal bash or anything, but why do members use the so-called Madden Standard so often?
yankeehillbilly said:You just made the other guy's point.....accuracy. AJ may have trouble with his accuracy but Jay doesnt even know what the word means.
arsenal said:well i go to the dolphins bar in east hanover, nothing beats that place, dolphins fans eveyrwhere, the fins game gets the sound and the big screen TV, and its just a fun place to go... IF i catch a game in hoboken theres a bar called willy mcbrides on grant st, they have a bunch of TVs and play all the games, never saw another fin fan there, but ive gone a few times with my buddies... but the place to go is in east hanover, prob about a 20 minute drive but well worth it... http://www.phins.com/bars.php#nj

Justasportsfan said:I'm not sure about that. Under the same circumstances Feeley was last year, Flutie made the probowl and the bills made wildcard. Imagine that, an old weak armed midget makes Moulds catch for over 1500 yards. Feeley had Chambers . Sammy Morris was our Rb too.
SkapePhin said:In the latest issue of Maxim, they have a review of Madden 06 which features this line:
"Every new version of Madden has its own set of improvements, and this year the designers tweaked the passing game, letting quaterbacks with great field presence see their receivers better... and those named AJ Feeley dig their own graves."
I guess he is the consensus worst QB in the NFL after last year.. but he had a better record than the "all-star Backup" Jay Fiedler...
the guy was old and a midget who played for the CFL for crying out loud. You are making excuses for AJ like he was a rookie. All I'm saying is that he wasn't very smart w/ the football inspite of having Reid as a caoch and MCnabb to learn from. Everyone knows AJ has the physical tools but does he have the brains? While some finfan predict Losman as being the next Rob Johnson, as stupid as he was, Rob never looked as bad as Feeley either under the same circumstances.Eshlemon said:Because the midget can scramble but Manning and Feeley can't. Flutie ran for around 500 yards putting the Bills in the top 10 rushing. He was great that year, until losing to Miami in the playoffs...great memory.

SkapePhin said:oh, and as for my opinion.. I am no "hugger".. I just dont think he deserves to be skewered for what was an obvious lost season with vast offensive turmoil.. All I am for as far as Feeley is concerned is for him to have a shot to display his true potential, whatever that may be, within the context of a stable offensive system.. Now if that is what you consider "hugging" so be it.. But I call your unwillingness to even give him a chance given the circumstances irrational "hatred"..
One more thing, Feeley is more accurate than Fiedler, just from my untrained eye.. When he has time, he puts the ball in a better position than Fiedler.. I love it how people rewrite history like Jay never made mistakes.. Fiedler was just as inconsitent and mistake prone as Feeley, only with a nonexistant arm and a constancy that was displayed for FOUR YEARS.. Feeley is still an unknown.. He did not appear to be mistake prone during his stint in Philly, so there does appear to be potential for an inept offensive system playing a role in his regression and inconcistency..
