oh, and as for my opinion.. I am no "hugger".. I just dont think he deserves to be skewered for what was an obvious lost season with vast offensive turmoil.. All I am for as far as Feeley is concerned is for him to have a shot to display his true potential, whatever that may be, within the context of a stable offensive system.. Now if that is what you consider "hugging" so be it.. But I call your unwillingness to even give him a chance given the circumstances irrational "hatred"..
One more thing, Feeley is more accurate than Fiedler, just from my untrained eye.. When he has time, he puts the ball in a better position than Fiedler.. I love it how people rewrite history like Jay never made mistakes.. Fiedler was just as inconsitent and mistake prone as Feeley, only with a nonexistant arm and a constancy that was displayed for FOUR YEARS.. Feeley is still an unknown.. He did not appear to be mistake prone during his stint in Philly, so there does appear to be potential for an inept offensive system playing a role in his regression and inconcistency..
