you guys still holding out on that mack thing huh...![]()
He should be target #1, but he's not going anywhere. Would he get Mangold money? I'd be more willing to shell out money for Mack than Albert.

In an era of short passing causing defense to switch to lots of the double A gap blitz looks and quick interior pressure schemes, the interior of the offensive line has never been more important. Tackles on the other hand are less important than ever, especially the left tackle, thanks to the proliferation of the detached tight end exposing right tackles almost as much as left tackles. Mainly what I think you want are competent tackles that don't get beat early/inside. If you're going to have elite players, better inside than out, imo.
If Baltimore can't sign Eugene Monroe to a new contract, its safe to say he will get the franchise tag. Baltimore just gave up 2 middle round picks for a half-season of play, so they need to get more out of that trade.

I think Balt reallt hurt themselves with that huge Flacco contract. Esp with his play this yearDennis Pitta is a free agent and he's HUGE for that offense. They have tough choices to make here. I think there's an honest chance that Monroe hits the market. Remember, Baltimore made that trade because their window is open. They were playing for another championship.
Of course, if they franchise Monroe, Pitta could hit the market. I would be interested in him, too.
also i think saying monroe is arguably one of the best left tackles in the games a little steep but i'm sure he'd like to paint himself as that for free agency...probably will command top 5 tackle money if he hits
He will likely cost at least what St Louis paid for Jake Long last year.
