Randy Mac arrested in Augusta, GA......

IMO let Randy play out this season and send him on his way. This guy is a piece of crap. With Randy and Ricky its tough to root for these guys on the field because of their off the field problems.

Come on now, you are really pissing me off comparing Ricky to Randy...How can you compare Ricky a good guy who wouldn't hurt a fly with McMike with his 2nd strike.
Ricky has never been arrested and I doubt with his attitude, he will be anytime soon....I know he is a quitter, but do not compare these 2 guys at all...
Ricky has never hit airport agents, stole money, rape anyone, fight in night clubs, beat his wife, or failed to pay child support....He is a weirdo but a very good guy who will not hurt somebody.

Saban has a history of going easier on his good players, but this is inexcusable.

If he hit a woman, I want him off my team. The last story was more of a restraining and accident... this one is too much.

I've previously pulled hard for a contract extension, but Saban has to send a message with this one.

Both times, though, last offseason and this one, he had been drinking prior to the incident.

Totally agree with you! Can't compare wife beater to RW. I would rather Mcmike quit football than do this repeatedly to our team's image.

RICKY HAS FAILED TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT AND HAD TO BE DRAGGED TO COURT TO TAKE CARE OF HIS OWN KIDS NUMEROUS TIMES! What world are you living in?

MAN, I just got done defending mcmike in the depths just a few minutes ago. Now we will see what saban does when a star player gets in trouble. It doesnt sound like too big of an incident but why did it take so long to hit the papers??

Saban will do nothing this year. He is stuck with Randy.

After this year, either Randy gets a new contract (hoepfully he gets lowballed if he does stay) or Nick tells him to hit the bricks (which is what I vote for)

Nobody will trade for him. And Miami won't franchise him because then they are gonna get stuck paying him. Nobody spends big bucks on tight ends.

Someone would trade for him. A young franchise tight end that is about as good as Todd Heap without all of the injury history? He's productive, he's fast, he can block and get after people, and he generally has a GREAT attitude in the locker room. He didn't raise a stink about gettin a new contract and he's actually playing out the final year of his contract without holding out.

This guy's golden. There's too many high paid wife-beaters in the league for personnel guys to care about a few scuffs with his wife here and there.

If you don't think money gets paid to tight ends, you really should check out Todd Heap's fresh new contract some time.

As a person, we can celebrate Ricky and repudiate Randy, but as football players, a coach will always take the guy with a few off-field problems than a guy whose problems are motivation type problems.

Saban has no problem with Channing Crowder getting into numerous fights outside of bars or with Matt Roth's reputation for being a bully at Iowa, but he'd clearly have a problem with a guy who you won't know if he's playing football from one season to the next. Hence, he drafted Ronnie Brown, instead of placing his eggs in Ricky's basket.

Well at least she wasnt pregnant this time around...Sorry i guess that silver lineing isnt always good.

Miami Dolphins tight end Randy McMichael was arrested early Saturday morning in Columbia County after witnesses told police that he had given his wife a bloody nose. Mr. McMichael, a former University of Georgia player, just completed his third season with the Dolphins.

Just after midnight , police were called to the Waffle House at 4077 Jimmie Dyess Parkway in Grovetown concerning a fight at the restaurant. According to a Columbia County Sheriff's Office incident report, police found Mr. McMichael's wife, Cawanna, with several drops of blood on the front of her shirt.

Mrs. McMichael, 22, told police she had accidental contact with Mr. McMichael as he was throwing some of her belongings out of their 1984 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. However, four witnesses told police they saw Mr. McMichael throw his wife from the car. One witness told police he saw the athlete throw his wife away from the vehicle several times, according to the report.

A witness told police that Mrs. McMichael's nose began bleeding after Mr. McMichael hit her in the face with what might have been a piece of cardboard, the report stated.

Mr. McMichael, who admitted to having had two glasses of wine and several beers before the argument, refused to take a field Breathalyzer test, the report stated. Mr. McMichael is 6-foot-4 and weighs 245 pounds, according to the report. His wife was treated at the scene.
