I'd be cool with farmer as gm
I'm in agreement with you. Talent is talent. That is a given. But projecting how college talent will do in the NFL is a crapshoot just like projecting high school players to college is. I would prefer a GM that has extensive experience scouting and projecting college players into the NFL.
I prefer a GM with College Scouting Experience.
Ray Farmer is on the war room, he has his views on the football team, hell he's in Mobile as we speak for the Browns, if he couldn't do it Cleveland wouldn't of sent him there.

I like Farmer. As a former player, he will fit in here and I think he can work past Dawn somehow.

Cleveland assistant general manager Ray Farmer, Miami assistant general manager Brian Gaine and Tampa Bay director of player personnel Dennis Hickey appear to be on the short list, CBS Sports reported.
Give him a chance he may prove to be a good drafter
Well if we want him (Farmer) then hire him. Stop farting around!!!

Ross will go with whoever Carl Peterson gives a glowing recommendation for. I would bet that will be Farmer
