I truly believe that you can't judge a draft until at least 2 years later and I love these bleacher report regrading the draft articles. Do you agree with this guy or no?

"The 2012 draft class in Miami is an interesting one—both good and bad.

The team hit on quarterback Ryan Tannehill with a pick that seemed like a reach at the time. General manager Jeff Ireland also nailed the picks of Olivier Vernon and Rishard Matthews, but the decision to add Jonathan Martin looks very questionable after the fact.
Similarly, Lamar Miller and Michael Egnew have failed to deliver on their pre-draft stock. The Miller pick looked great given the value, but he's played more like a fourth-rounder than the first-round talent he was seen as.
The bravado to select Tannehill early in Round 1 has paid off, though, and for that the team gets a high grade.
Updated Team Grade: A-"

New Grade for every dolphins pick ( S means starter, B means Backup and the team they currently play for. OLL means out of league.

I'm not sure I can give RT an A yet based on production and where he was picked. Definitely cannot give Miller a B. I'm not sure what Millers grade is based on, what we have seen from him or what we hope to see.

:bobdole:

This team and 2nd/3rd round picks....(except for Vernon)

As of now I would say we don't have any A's. An A should be a top notch player. None of those guys are top notch. Miller should not be a B either, at least not yet. Maybe a C

As I have always said. Jeff was not as bad as people make him out to be and not as good as others wanted him to be. He was middle of the road.

It's tough to grade because at the time we still had Jake Long and a seemingly good OL. I thought Martin seemed like a good pick, protecting the best QB in the draft. With the WR woes in Tannehill's first year, and the OL debacle in year 2, who can really say just how good Miller, Egnew, and Matthews are? This season will be telling.

Although I think Tannehill is great, he's still got a whole lot to prove. OV is really the only sure-fire great player from the bunch.

Average or just above, far from history making. He could have killed it with a few more picks available to him at the time but he failed to do so.

Combo Package.

Ireland draft are mostly mediocre. He hits on the 1st round (what GM doesn't) but misses with mid round picks, then finds gems in the late rounds.

His FA moves are the big busts. Spending big money on flavor of the month players .

take a look at the dozen or so 1st round picks before 2008

we got tannehill...grades an a off that alone...not even egnews terrible pick can offset it

Looking good I think the verdict is still out on Miller and Mathews. What if mathews really doesn't make the team this year? Wont be a good pick anymore. A 7th is still only a 7th so you can't sayit was terrible I guess
