Report: Miami Dolphins to work out former All-SEC Linebacker Erroll Thompson

We just better hope the ones we have get better , not sure if it's the coaches or the players.

So who exactly do you propose they bring in for the offensive line ??? You know since there are so many pro bowl offensive linemen just sitting there waiting to be signed
One Dolphins lineman is ranked 160 out of 162. You think it will be difficult to find a lineman in the top 150.....maybe? Better than top 160

When are they going to bring in offensive lineman for a workout??

It sounds like the Miami Dolphins are going to work out a former college standout this week.

Linebacker Erroll Thompson, who made a name for himself at Mississippi State University, is reportedly going to get a chance to show his potential to the Dolphins.

Thompson played in four total seasons at Mississippi State. During his time there, he racked up 125 solo tackles, 187 assisted tackles and 10 sacks. He also totaled three interceptions, four passes defended, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery

LOVE THIS. Yes, we need olinemen. Doesn't mean we should ignore other positions.
I really liked this guy as a later round prospect last draft. Plus, it's just a workout. Doesn't hurt to get him in here.
Most people seem to think this offseason's priorities are OL, WR, RB, LB....well, get the LB now and save the draft pick. Maybe the team liked this guy in the draft and missed out on him, now here he is, available. POUNCE!

Too late in the season to bring in an OLman and expect him to start, unless he's a top guy. Won't happen

Texans just released LB. Zach Cunningham. Know nothing about him. He any good ????

Please if you don't actually know, don't respond, Please...

Can't look at anyone else, because the OLine is underperfoming!

Ha! Ha! Ha!

So funny joke!

Just has to be said!

Grier not doing his job! Doing us dirty!

It's like being on a Rush fan page and people taking pictures of their receipts and odometers (etc.) when it hits "2112."

Ha! Such wits!

On a related note, I'm fairly sure we work our players all the time at all positions (including OLinemen), but they don't get reported because the weren't "All SEC" or some other hook for clicks.

This is shocking- unless Cunningham has been hampered by injuries or something. He was really good for a while. Has his play dropped off?
EDIT: Disciplinary reasons

If not mistaken the Fins released a few OL who are starting on other teams. Not saying that Grier was a wiz at OL men but he did bring in three and coaching staff let them go..... Coaching Staff...... You know Flores and his gang of inexperienced learning on the job hopefuls....

True we now are in a period of hands tied and bringing in retreads ....again (When will they learn ? )

Back to Cunningham PFT says
According to multiple reports, the Texans are waiving Cunningham on Wednesday for disciplinary reasons.. He was benched for a quarter earlier this season for violating team rules and was inactive in last Sunday’s loss to the Colts for the same reason.

Cunningham had 67 tackles and a forced fumble while starting seven of the 10 games he played for Houston this year.

i would pounce on Cunningham, a 2022 linebacker corp of Baker and Cunningham inside and Van Ginkle and Phillips outside would be nice. Add Wilkins, Davis and Ogbah up front and that's a legit front 7 to go with an already stout secondary. If Cunningham's issues are just disciplinary and not legal issues I vote yes.

Roster purge. This move leaves Houston with a $12.83 million cap hit. They're Tanking For Anyone.
That organization is a total mess.
Dude is 26. But, I don't know much about him. What we need at LB now is someone that is a run stopper and decent at coverage.
