Ricky and Ronnie

Dont make our 2nd round pick into a blocker!! He's much more valuable than that!!

No friggin kidding people! Ronnie is the future of the franchise, a once-in-a-lifetime #2 pick. I realize Ricky was too, but he's a flake and IN NO WAY is he the future of this franchise, just a temporary boost if he comes back. Look at the history of repeat drug offenders in the NFL, they never stop doing it, only on a temp. basis.

The proper way is to use them one-at-a-time to extend their seasons. Ronnie is a rookie and will hit a wall. Split their carries through the whole year. BOth fresh if we get the wild card. Ricky then has trade value and is happy. We're happy.

I used the word ignorant in my last post... Now I'm gonna use STUPID!

I merly pointed out that IF Ricky wanted to come back and wanted to get back into shape (Like you said he isn't)... it wouldn't take long for him to get back what he had...

and Doogie kicked mayjor @$$!

...I'm not even going to waste my time. :shakeno:

See ya.

We're talking about reality here. You may really not want to see Ricky Williams come back, but basically all signs point to Saban wanting him to return, and rumor has it Ricky does too. Look at todays news, for example. Did you notice Jim Brown, one of the guys that influenced Ricky's retirement in the first place has said that he thinks Ricky could return and Saban is doing the right things for it?......

Unfortunatly your GREAT post will all go to vein with this guy... He's stuck on his opinion... plus your opnion is worthless becuz you have less POSTS then him. :D

Thank you Doogie Howser.

BTW, when was I talking smack??? I just stated that Ricky is not coming back.

I'm getting "outsmacked" by two people that have less than 400 posts combined.

There was so much talk of the "Jay Fiedler huggers" on here a year ago, we need to coin the term "Ricky huggers."

You people need to get over the pot smoker and realize the loser ain't coming back!

:roflmao:

You are a ignorant lil man...

I happen to know alot of respected profesionals, doctors, laywer's, detectives, ohh yea and native american indians. That i promise you are all more succsefull then you! that smoke pot. Seriously grow up!

Yes, you are correct. But don't tell that to Spray Mucus, because WE are the ones that are "stupid."

I guess some people never learn their lesson from the likes of Cecil Collins, Ricky Williams, Demetrius Underwood, etc...

Something to really be proud of.

...and how do you know they are more successful? You have no idea of where I've worked in the past.

BTW, it's "more successful THAN you, not THEN you.

Besides, it's not even about the F***ING pot! Stop spinning the argument.

It's about a star player on his team QUITTING the week before training camp.

While I don't agree with your Ricky coming back being good analysis, I do agree that smoking pot has nothing to do with being a loser. I went to one of the top science colleges in the nation for undergrads, better than Harvard, Columbia or Yale. And I guarantee at least half of the tenured professors there smoked pot for a least some time during their lives. A few of them were world renowned scientists. Ricky is a loser because of his quitter personality and his refusal to be held accountable to anyone but himself. Hell, he's not even accountable to his own damn children. You can be a winner and still smoke pot, it can be a fairly harmless drug, much less harmful than alcohol, as long as you don't let it dominate your life.

Your right, it's about the loser player, who happens to smoke pot.

You truly have selective reading here... never not once did I put RW over Ronnie. Actually all I originally did was point out the fact that a person can retain muscle lost in a very short period of time. But now you've pretty much sent me out on a quest to make you look foolish.

OK here's the bottom line Saban finds Value in RW... rather that be on the field or by getting a draft pick... honestly I don't care. Ronnie is our man!

i seriously hope ricky dies. end of story, then we wouldnt have to discuss the possibility of him coming back.

YES! That's all that needs to be said. Saban is very business like, He's building for the future. IF, no matter how miniscule the possibility, RIcky does want to play for more than one year, I still think Saban trades him. 2 expensive RB's aren't worth keeping. at least 24 other starting positions needed to make a team.

I don't think that I'm the only one with selective reading, because his being out of shape was only 1/2 my argument.

It's his friggin attitude. He does not care about football. He is not coming back. If he does, I'll admit I was wrong, but I'll believe it when I see it.

...and why would you spark up a big argument if we agree that Ronnie Brown is the man??? That's what I've been saying from the getgo!

Nah, we cool!

I agree with his attitude, it's crumby. BUT! now here me out, That was then and this is now... Things have changed from his $ standpoint to the coaching staff. Will RW ever be trusted again? Probably not. but that's why you put a million red flags in his contract where the dolphins take zero risk on this wack-o... You can hate him for what he did (and believe me I was all about "EF RICKY" but, you can not deny he's one hell of a Football player... even when his heart wasn't in it.

Right?

Yes, he WAS one hell of a player. See, I think this is the one spot we disagree. I don't think it's so easy to put on all that muscle again so quickly.

I've done both. I've lost fat at one point, and then at another time tried to put on the muscle I had in high school football. It takes WAY longer to get that strength back than it does to lose fat.

...plus, I just don't think he's dedicated. That's the bottom line to me.

Also, could you imagine the media circus it would create if he came back??? This team, in its new regime, does not need that type of distraction.

I'm against Ricky coming back under any and all circumstances.
