Ricky and Ronnie

Well let's see here. Because of DRUG TESTING??? His masking agent won't work. The NFL will be 10x tougher on his drug testing if he would return. You have no proof that the NBA players, Sapp or Moss smoke pot on a daily basis. You're just assuming.

DOn't need proof. People in the know, know, ...know what I mean? :)

60 Mins interview says it all.
I was thinking the same thing but Ricky seems to change his mind quickly, which can be a good thing and a bad thing. I think if he gets back on his (legal) meds, he will be ok mentally.

Do you know what a masking agent even is? How do you know it wouldnt work? What are you basing it on? Do you have even passing knowledge of masking agents? Wait, let me answer... No, you dont.

According to Ricky, the masking agent worked in the past. I've got no proof that Randy Moss smokes pot on a daily basis? Who cares if it is daily? Randy Moss was arrested in 2003 IN POSSESSION of pot, during the regular season. What do you think he was doing with it? Using it as a car air freshener?

I'm done arguing about ricky. I can't believe people waste their time defending this loser.

Where have I defended him? Seriously, get a grip. What Ricky did was terrible, and he is going to suffer for it fiancially, and should. There is a huge difference between recognizing the facts and understanding that he will probabaly be back and defending what he has done.

Also, could you imagine the media circus it would create if he came back??? This team, in its new regime, does not need that type of distraction.
If Dave was still our coach, I would totally agree with you. Saban would have total control of that situation if it arrises.

You can keep telling yourself that all you want. But the fact is Saban has allready came right out and said that Ronnie would be splitting carries with another significant running back. One could only assume that a deal with RW has allready been arranged. Another month and we will all know for sure.

My guess is that RW will be back after his contract has been restructured. It will be a lower, insentive ridden, cap freindly contract.

Saban is making all the right moves!!

your right on. don't waste your breath on some of these guys. wwaaahhh ricky hurt us wwwaaaahhhh ricky if mean blah blah blah. I hate ricky wahhh. you would figure seeing how crappy we were last year without him maybe some of you guys would appreciate having him back. I sure would. i can't handle another season like last year. With brown and ricky i could see us sneaking into the playoffs this coming season.

Nate Newton was arrested with 213 pounds of weed at one point. :domodance

Muhsin Muhammad was arrested in 2002 for possession.

Mark Stepnoski, a 5 time Pro Bowler who won 2 Super Bowls with Dallas claimed he regularly smoked pot instead of taking painkillers.

The following NBA players have been arrested for possession:
Allen Iverson, Chris Webber, Jason Williams, Lamar Odom, Isaiah "JR" Rider, Eddie Griffin, Damon Stoudamire, Rasheed Wallace, Zach Randolph.

Also, the Chicago Bulls mascot.

do you know why he was smoking pot to begin with. His original meds for his disorder were making him sick/not aggreeing with him (according to him). Weed which accomplished the same effect as his meds was much more to his liking. I had no problem with him smoking it for medicinal purposes. Not every person that smokes weed is some kind of junky. A plant that grows naturally all over the united states should not be illegal. I don't smoke weed and i think that this is the most rediculous law there is. I geuss you sheep like big brother telling you how to live your lives.
