Ronnie Brown, a real take.....

I will go on record as saying that trading/releasing Ronnie Brown will be one of the biggest mistakes in franchise history. Getting rid of him makes absolutely NO SENSE. I don't think Mort has any real source on this. More likely just throwing out his bizzare opinion.

Agreed!

I can't believe all the fools on here saying he isn't good, and should be dealt away. This community makes me sick sometimes. I bet if we searched on the names of some of the people hating on RB we would find quite the opposite just a few months ago.

Unreal.

You keep Ronnie and Ricky at this point. If they split carries, it'll be less wear and tear on Ronnie in the future and you get something more out of Ricky.

People need to remember, Ricky is one screw up from being permanently removed from the NFL. And I'd be willing to bet my house and my car that his career will end just like that...a final suspension. So, for now...lets get the most out of Ricky and mix Ronnie in. I wouldnt give up on Ronnie unless you can dramatically improve the RB situation...which would be to acquire a big time RB like LT.

That all depends upon the price. I am sure Cowboys fans thought it was a huge mistake to trade Herschel Walker for 8 players. They were wrong! I would trade him for a 1st round pick and a player that contributes significantly. Any good FO focus on improving the team as a whole.

Ricky Williams has it all over R.B......

Now i'm just starting to plain dislike this front office, and the fans on here who blindly defend them.

I know Ronnie Brown's big question mark is with his health, and it has been over his career thus far. Even coming into this season, we simply do not know if he will be the same player he looked like he was going to be last season and at times has shown he can be.

But come on....

Getting rid of Ronnie Brown?

FOR RICKY WILLIAMS NO LESS!

and you people are in SUPPORT of this!?

THE SAME PEOPLE who were ready to BURN DOWN Ricky Williams apartment in Miami after his testing positive for Marijuana use and retirement from the NFL. A positive test result that he has achieved on several occasions now (GOLD STAR FOR RICKY!).

This is how i know people are band-wagoners, and front runners. Jimmy Rollins was right!

Ronnie Brown may not exactly be the most reliable back in the NFL, especially coming off a serious ACL injury. But turning to Ricky Williams? That's like changing between two embezzling accountants.

Ronnie at least has played in the league for more than 5 carries since 2005-2006. I mean i guess turning to a guy five years out of playing his best football who's now 31 years old is a good decision......if you're an idiot.

And it's not like Ronnie Brown has proven he can't play in the NFL. We're talking about a guy with great vision, who's mix of power and speed could make him one of the better backs in the NFL if he could just stay on the field. His receiving skills are very good (perhaps not as good as Ricky's) too.

BUT KEEP ON SIPPING THAT KOOL AID FINHEAVEN!

Make mine sugar-free!

RB is not dependable, who cares what he did for 8 or 9 games, if he's just going to get hury every year then whats the point? Get value for him while u still can.

PS. Why did this have to be a new thread, couldnt u just have replied to the other 17 page RB trade thread?
