San Diego ranks 32nd in passing defense

I don't think it would work from the Wildcat formation as we ran it against New England. For it to have a remote chance of working, Ginn would have to run a post or deep crossing pattern. Only a handful of QB could even attempt such a pass as you describe it.
Your right thats even a better idea.

They are also though in the top half of the league in rush Defense. I would rather see Ronnie and Ricky penetrate that 14th ranked rushing Defense than have to rely on Pennington to win the game.

This is a very misleading stat. IF you sort the stats by yards per attempt, then the Bolts are in the bottom 3rd of the league. People are more effective passing versus this defense, so they do not run the ball very much.

yep that's true, don't throw any balls his way or he'll make us pay...

i actually think the best matchup we have coming into this game is our TEs against their safetys and linebackers.... i'm telling you, if fasano doesn't catch 100 yards or so, we will lose that game. the run will be very hard to establish and our receivers will face good corners...

Agreed. Zach Miller put up some pretty nice numbers against them last week. My only concern is that CP isn't mr . deep ball and, depsite being young, Russell has a canon arm. That may have opened up the middle for them.
