Shemar Stewart

I dunno why, I always read his name Shedeur Sanders...sorry my wittle Shemu

Harmon too. I really like Nolen a lot, nfl.com has him ranked ahead of Graham even. But I want to know what the character issue is.

I think it's particularly important for Miami to find not just good football players, but leaders.

If it's true that Hill and Ramsey are late for practices, that's particularly troubling considering they are supposedly team leaders.

The Dolphins need to start building a stronger culture.
Will the culture ever change with Ross as the owner?

Good point. But I think, at least on the field, that falls more to Grier and McDaniel.

I understand the Hill trade, as McDaniel had an excellent initial plan to incorporate him into the offense. It definitely helped Tua turn the corner as a quarterback too. But when your highest paid players aren't necessary team leaders that can be a problem.

I think that needs to be more of an emphasis. Bring in those players that hate to lose, play with energy and enthusiasm and keep other players in line. With McDaniel being more of a players coach, I think that's even more important than with other teams. If that makes sense.

Ross throws luxury and cash at players. You look at McDaniels' watch and you see he gets caught up
in that world. I don't absolve him of any blame but if you get hired in KC you buy the Timex Ironman watch
and debase yourself in a StateFarm commercial

Stewart looks as a pass rusher like it’s all power or nothing. He can condense the pocket with the power rush but where’s the finish? Base de I’m sure he’s good at the poa but top 15 pick you need to produce with finish as a pass rusher.

You aren’t validating a top 15 pick on an edge unless he finishes on the qb at a double digit pace.

He doesn’t look bendy enough to gain the shoulder on the outside consistently.

we have that already in Chop Robinson, pass
Actually, you have made a very good point.

I guess taking a "flyer" on a players' potential can make sense as part of a "Continuous Improvement Plan" if it is done occasionally; as opposed to a higher degree of use, like once or twice every draft.

Not sure tbh. What I am sure is I want the meanest biggest dog to plunk beside Seiler with our first pick. I assume one of Chubb/JP will be around. Who knows maybe we can keep Campbell for another year?

48 can be oline.

Dream scenario is we fleece Zona for 16 and 47. So we have 16, 47,48. 😂

Something like this lol

If we’re trading down to 16 I’m taking a serious look at Zabel or Banks in that range, but adding a second gives us more flexibility. Regardless I dont see us taking Grant. I don’t know why people think he is a first round talent. I genuinely just do not see it. He’s not an anchor 0 technique DT. He’s a quickness/finesse player walking around in the body of an anchor DT. His strengths project to 3-4 DE and passing down DT, and while I think he could be fine in that role there are players ahead of him who would give us a lot more. Harmon would be my guy for that skill set and we could come back and get Collins in the second AND a starting guard in this scenario. I honestly think Grant will be available at 98.
