Sherman is 'Running' the team

What if Sherman is bullying Philbin

Sounds like more dribble with no substance to fill the deafning silence until a tree finally falls.

For those of us disappointed with Philbin, and seeing his tendency to be arms length from so many things, and delegating, this comes as no surprise at all. Sherman certainly seems like a passionate guy, and a knowledgeable football guy, so I can see him getting involved. My only beef with Sherman is his ineffectiveness and playcalling, and I support his firing. Philbin is another matter to me, I don't think he's done of anything for the team.

I think it's likely the staff stays mostly intact except for Sherman and some other assistant coaches. Push comes to shove, Philbin will accept what Ross wants.

Yesterday, I figured Ross is taking some time to sort things out. But today, I also think he's hedging his bets and the reason he hasn't made a decision on who to fire is because he wants to see who he can replace. There's no point in firing if there's nobody else of value willing to walk into this mess. Remember, he looked around BEFORE he fired Sparano. I think that's what he's doing right now, he's shopping. Then he'll come back, and fire who he has a suitable replacement for.

shows that we take a tweet and run with it like its true, or like its law.

IF true Phlbin needs to go because he has no gumption

however i HIGHLY doubt this is true and I have nothing to back this up but it really sounds like the media is trying to create stories when the team is giving them none.

How would this be going on for two years and just now see the light of day? Smells sour to me.

Why is it that fans can assume things about Jeff Ireland like it was ALL his idea to jettison Bush, Long, Dansby and Burnett and that Philbin had nothing to little to do with it, but when something like this comes out from actual writer, Philbin backers say, "I highly doubt this is true"?

Joe will still survive this. He has support from Aponte. People in the league (that are a long ways from Davie) think he has done well, Ireland is not liked and had too much time on the job and at the end of day Joe is Ross' pick.

Joe survives....and gets more power.

I really wish you would stop saying that he gets more power with Aponte still there. You have no evidence to support this whatsoever, and are just as bad as the people who are spouting this crap with no evidence either.

Wanna bring back this thread in the months ahead? Nothing I said above is off.

Again no evidence whatsoever like I said before.

Okay. I guess we will only post things here AFTER they happen. No predictions or conjecture. This should be a good forum...

IF it comes to pass that Aponte does get more responsibility and Joe sticks and gets more apparent power, you can send me a "yeah, you correct post."

You are just bitter from Week 17 when I told you the Fins would play small and Jets free and easy...yet you told me I was wrong and negative...blah, blah, blah. Maybe I am right on this one too?

Sounds like a HC who is inexperienced leaning on a trusted coordinator who does have HC experience. Philbin may be listening too much.
