SI: Tannehill to be most improved QB in 2014

The stat that takes all of these surrounding variables into consideration best is DVOA, and Tannehill barely improved at all with regard to it from 2012 to 2013: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/qb http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/qb2012
According to who? The guy that came up with the innovative statistic? He knows the defenses game plans? He knows what affect a running game would have on the defense? You are missing the big picture in the details. Your statement that a QBs TD total should increase if the rushing TDs decrease is ridiculous. I gave you 3 different examples that were the exact opposite of what you claim should happen.
According to your logic, when Baltimore had 10 less rushing TDs in 2013 compared to 2012, that means Joe Flacco should have had 10 more TDs? Why did he have 3 fewer with 84 more pass attempts? When NE had 6 less rushing TDs in 2013 compared to 2012, that means Brady should have 6 more TD passes? Why did he have 9 less TDs with only 9 fewer pass attempts? Luck had 23 TDs in 2012 when the team rushed for 11 TDS. The team had 4 more rushing TDs in 2013 (which according to you should result in fewer TD passes for Luck) yet Luck had 45 less pass attempts but still had 23 TDs. :ponder:
Less statistics and more logic please.
