Here are Freeny's athletic numbers, by the way. Pretty impressive/explosive.

How could Miami not have signed an UFA TE right away? That's a big need.
 
I doubt Freeny will make the cut, but I distinctly remember him being a pain in the *** when he played my USF Bulls. He definitely made some good plays and had BJ Daniels scared. Speedy little feller.

I just never get caught up in combine numbers this is why a guy like ted Ginn goes top 10 and Desean Jackson gets picked in second round.
 
He's likely not going to make the team anyway, why are you flipping a lid about it?

Wasnt really complaining just feel there are much better propsects out there.
 
I just posted about them getting an UFA TE and Todd Heap is being cut. There is your other TE to snatch up. DON'T WAIT!!

But you do get caught up in statistics without a view toward context?

Anyhow, the 10 yard split, vertical, broad jump and 20 yard dash are historically important numbers when grading pass rushers. If you look at Cameron Wake's combine, it gives a clue to what he might become.

Does Freeny's excellent athletic numbers mean he's going to turn into Cameron Wake? Of course not. It just gives him a chance.
