Some coaches aren't happy with Mike Wallace

Negative Nancy time, but if this team is not successful this year, this entire thing can be blown up...HC, QB and high priced players included.

Wouldn't you also say the same thing about your boy in STL, Coach Mediocre, (6 winning seasons going on 19) his rubber stamp GM and staff and players associated with them , who've actually has been more disappointing? Or does he get a pass because you wanted him hired?

Lets not forget that St. Louis has had plenty of draft pick as a result of the RGIII trade to build a very competitive team

I think it's quite possible that none of the coaches last year wanted Wallace, but Ireland wasn't on the same page as the coaching staff and forced Mike on them. I think Wallace's speed is all Jeff saw. I don't think he tried to learn if Wallace would be a fit or not. I personally didn't want Wallace; i wanted us to draft Keenan Allen, who after a rough start to his NFL career, has developed into a go to guy for Philip Rivers.

It's ok Brian billick will save us

Jackson's Buzz on Wallace & Looking at WR's in the Draft

Barry today wrote that Several Dolphins players have wondered among themselves why Miami has been looking so closely at receivers expected to go in the first and second rounds, and their suspicion is that the Dolphins want to replace Wallace in a year or so.

Several players believe some of these coaches aren't big fans of Wallace, and "HC Philbin is running that place," one prominent agent said.

But Wallace will be a big hit in 2015, on or off the team. On the team is #12.1M, cut would be $9.6M, and traded would be $6.6M.

Please IGNORE this thread, already posted by Daytona earlier.

I dont bet on "wondering"

but my opine is that we are looking for a guy who could be a philbin type (Moncrief) who could also maybe return kicks or more specifically, punts.

The Wallace thing sounds too convenient for the press to push that button based on who we are looking at.

Has anyone considered that SF has their eyes on these WR's and we are working the value on these players for trade down possibilities? Even at 50 with SF?

We have problems with our OL.

Mike Wallace is not a problem and I fully expected that he would not "light it up" the first year with RT who is still learning himself.....mainly how to stay upright.

Nope because Fisher's division is more difficult and the way he and Les Snead has set the team up with young talent, I'd be more patient.

Wallace was fair last year but, hardly worth the money. However, I give it this year to judge. HOF WR's like Carter and Rice have said it takes a year to get timing down, especially with a speed guy. Pollian said he was misused, and that Lazor will fix this. We shall see.
