Some coaches aren't happy with Mike Wallace

Probably cause our number 2 and 3 WRs are rehabbing and when Hartline went down last year our Offense without him and Gibson could not throw the ball at the end of the season.

That means we will be drafting a WR in first 3 or 4 rounds. This is a deep WR draft.

I really like Barry Jackson but this is a SILLY story to add to the buzz column for 2 reasons:

1. Every team brings in players for pre draft visits where they have stars at same position
Ex: Rams worked out Manziel (GM already said They believe in Bradford)
Pats brought in both Manziel & I believe Bridgewater as well

2. What's the problem with adding a playmaker if he is the BPA at 19????? You can never have enough weapons tie we need OL help but they may come in 2nd-3rd rounds or maybe they like Thomas who is now healthy & Fox if we can add a playmaker

Plenty of blame to go around. Sherman did not use Wallace one on one, OL did not give RT time or room to step up, RT missed throws, and Wallace was not in the right place on others. On to this year.

I never had the feeling this coaching staff wanted Wallace in the first place, seemed more like something Ireland had to deliver on and something Ross wanted to do, to keep fans happy.

He really doesn't represent the kind of WR this system demands, nor the kind of wrs philbin had in GB.

As Wallace's contract gradually goes down over the next 3 seasons, Hartline's is moving up. We are looking for his replacement imo.

Some players believe some coaches aren't happy w him? Sports reporting is so absurdly insubstantial. Looking at WRs is an effort to improve the offense as a whole and not an indictment on Wallace. There's so much talent at wr coming out of college in recent years we've been on an absurd run of ignoring it.

so philbin isnt happy with a guy who did exactly what he was brought in to do, stretch the field and give the dolphins a true home run threat? speaks volumes to what a rigid tight ass he is. if the qb gets the ball to this guy like hes supposed to he easily has over 1300 yards and numerous td's. how on earth can you be disappointed in that? other than money and weather i have no clue why anybody would want to play for this guy. easily one of the worst head coaches in the nfl, EASILY.

1. Any WR thats actually worth $60 million would have caught a lot of those balls even though they weren't perfect. Calvin Johnson probably has 1300 yards and numerous TDs even with the balls as thrown

2. We can't be sure where the fault lies between the two. Is Tannehill just inaccurate in a live game setting? Or is Wallace lollygagging it in practice resulting in poor timing between them when Wallace actually kicks it into high gear? Something is not transferring between the practice field and the game and I would say whatever it is its not 100% Tannehill's fault.

i really must have been watching different games. how you can say wallace should have caught most of those balls is truly laughable. go back and rewatch those passes, its ridiculous to say he should have caught most of them cause hes getting paid 60 mill. the one in tampa when he would have had an 80 yd td but tannehill threw it to the bench on the sideline, i guess he shouldve had that too?

The only receiver Tannehill had problems connecting on deep balls with was Wallace. No issues connecting with Hartline, Gibson, Matthews, etc. Why would Tannehill be the problem?

how many deep balls did he connect with hartline or gibson? i remember him missing hartline for a bomb that wouldve been a td in the game at buffalo and i remember him missing a wide open hartline for what wouldve been a 45 yd td at ny. the only deep pass i remember him hitting gibson on was that one against baltimore late in the game. refresh my memory if im wrong.

I liked what Philbin said of a missed deep ball between them after the Saints game. He said it was a "competitive" throw and Wallace made a "competitive" effort to make the catch, meaning they both had room to improve. And in my opinion most efforts between the two of them were of the "competitive" variety on both ends.

Also saying Wallace could have had 1300 yards is irrelevant, I mean Tannehill actually was top 10 in yards even with the missed deep balls so obviously that means very little in the grand scheme of things. The coaches have every right to be disappointed in both of them regardless of how many yards they put up (or might have put up).
