Hahaha THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS... Logic would have told me that the Martin camp admitting pre-existing mental health instability before the season started coupled with him BREAKING CONTRACT and ABANDONING his team could have lead to the dolphins suing his bum ass
 
Knowingly highly drafting (or signing) a mentally unstable person to play such a physically violent game would be the epitome of stupidity of the GMs part.

Perhaps the Dolphins are fortunate that Martin just walked out versus walking in one day with an AK47 and taking out the whole team and coaches.
 
Wasn't there someone saying Martin attempted suicide before? If this is true the there is no excuse for what happened....I think the evidence is going to be real bad for the Fins front office and Philbin and anyone else that has a voice in decision making....

Now Pouncey being a drug addict, I believe.....Pouncey is in a world of trouble when he goes to Boston for his deposition, there is no telling what they dug up with Hernandez....he better have a good law team hired and not just his agent

Not only the decision to make Richie his big brother but why would you go into the season with this guy as your LT instead of pulling the trigger with the Chiefs or paying for Long
 
All I'm going to say is I've always felt the bigger issue wasn't bullying but whether or not the Fins knew that Martin was dealing with mental/emotional issues. If they did, that's a huge issue

Leave it to the Dolphins to "know" about a problem and not know how to correct it. You could change this thread name to.. "The Dolphins were well aware the O-line sucked beforehand" They are terrible at correcting problems.
 
knowing he was 'emotionally unstable' and knowing he was being bullied is two seperate things.

this is true...the only thing they come up with are excuses...and large contracts
 
The FO was flat out stupid to not replace him in the offseason with oodles of cap space and draft picks to work with. How do you start the season with an emotionally unstable LT that isn't even a good player when stable. Ireland should have done whatever it took to resign Long (we supposedly offered more than St. Louis anyway), trade for Albert (we got ****ty CB's with the picks it may have taken) or even just have upped the offer to McKinnie in July. Ireland's cheap ass mentality is killer here sticking with Martin was career suicide.

Philbin
Sherman
Martin
Incognito
John Jerry (fat and lazy)
Egnew (he still sucks)
Daniel Thomas (do I really have to explain this one?)
Nolan Carroll (stinks)
Jimmy Wilson (stinks)
RJ Stanford (stinks)
Jason Trusnik (awful at LB)
