Sources: Dolphins Knew About Martin's Problems Beforehand

No kidding. What were they supposed to do if or when they found out he had emotional issues? Put him on IR? Assign a body guard? Put him in a bubble?

I'm confused to what the Dolphins should have done, provided they actually knew he was a big ****ing
*****.

I'm not an Ireland supporter and nor have I been an Ireland hater. That being said, assuming the organization knew Martin had major problems, how in the world do you not have a fall back option for your starting LT?

Ireland has been an abysmal offensive line talent evaluator. He's going to get the only potential franchise QB we have had in the past 15 years killed and that all sits on his shoulders.

Pretend theres no problem.. until its blatantly obvious to everyone.

That works for me, other than the fact that we drafted him.

Meanwhile, players are going to jail, still, and the biggest scandal is over a
paper tiger being called some names.

He also said Pouncey is a raging drug addict.

So i hope like hell Incognito's father was totally full of ****.
I believe the drug addict story more than the suicide part, lol...

Fixed.

Now Pouncey being a drug addict, I believe.....Pouncey is in a world of trouble when he goes to Boston for his deposition, there is no telling what they dug up
with Hernandez....he better have a good law team hired and not just his agent

You don't get to bring a lawyer with you into the grand jury room

The silver lining in all this is its good the Dolphins aren't Denver or Kansas City. Imagine being 8-0 or 7-1 and having to go through this ****?

I don't even care who did what anymore. The season technically isn't over but it might as well be.

and that Martin is one also, that he put a gun to his head (it sounds like routinely)..... but he also said that RI is innocent, that Martin's agent was a manipulating driver in this cluster**** and essentially, based on what he wished them, Ireland and Philbin are snakes (which makes sense now that we know they assigned Incog this task, had no oversight when he went overboard and then offered him up as a sacrificial lamb. So maybe Richie Sr knows a little thing or two, eh?

Jonathan Martin is probably manic depressive. Which can be well controlled with medication. It doesn't mean that he's crazy. The problem has probably been exacerbated by the regular verbal and physical abuse from his O-line team representative and mentor, Richie. Martin is a really smart guy who has always excelled and you make his life pure and complete hell being paired up with a likely sociopath, who was probably instructed to toughen him up. Richie didn't win the award for being the dirtiest player in the NFL for nothing. And when our beloved GM was repeatedly informed by Martin's agent that there was a problem, Jeff's advice was to punch Incognito in the mouth.
As an outsider, it seems pretty obvious to me that the Dolphins didn't manage the situation very well. But let's wait for it all to come out.

If the dolphns knew that Martin has a problem at this level, I would think they would of released him or they would of sent him to see a therapist looooonngg ago. I work in he medical field, and MOST symptoms are not noticable to be something major, because they are common symtoms to many major and minor ailments. If someone is coughing or sneezing will not alert anyone, not even a doctor. Even if you go see a doctor, he will likely not think much of it. The dolphins may have seen many signs, but to a outside looking it, it may have not appear to be anything major.

We all seen Michael Egnew get chewed out last year, how would any of us and even the coaches would know that is a SIGN of a mental illness until something drastic happens. Its like saying the Patriots are liable for Hernandez or the Cheifs are liable for Jovan Belcher.
