Stopped weed, started steroids

Tucker,

You don't know what you're talkin' bout bud. First of all I said, "40-60 grams of protein or more based based on his activity" Note the "or more" part of that sentence, that would include your "200 grams" non-sense. If you ask any nutritionist worth a dirt, they will tell you that the body would have an extremely difficult time utilizing that much protein for building muscle, the bulk of it would end up being flushed -literally.

If you're having a hard time understanding that the bulk of the weight gain from steroids is from water... then ask ANYBODY who has done them. Have you ever seen a "roid head" whose face is puffy as a balloon? Do you think he's added facial mucle bulk? Don't be stupid, of course it's primarily water. Why do you think they lose weight after the cycle is complete?

Or is your problem with my "2nd paragraph" the part about muscle with a higher water content being more susceptible to tears? Just do a little research, before you rip into something half-****ed.

Run a poll right here and ask about the water gain from roids, how long it lasts and if one is more vulnerable to tears and strains in a contact sport while on 'roids? I ain't making this $hit up!

One player saw Ricky in the elevator of the team headquarters and said that his muscles were looking like the incredible hulk. Could it be steroids this time?

1 month ago he was without any flesh or muscles, 2 weeks ago he became skinny, and now he is ripped .....Do you think it's because he knows his astro-body well or he is using some sorts or steroids to help him out...I'm surprised that he allready gained 35 pounds in 1 month (from 195 to 230) and myself I can eat an entire cow and not gain 1 pound. Ummmm Fishy....

P.S . David Bowens and Ronald Flemons will surprise in camp...
how about we let the guy play football instead of criticizing EVERY single thing he does....yeah, he messed up, but my gosh enough is enough

I love the morality police who keep slamming the guy. They must be the perfect ones who never made a mistake and never needed forgiveness.
They will also be the first ones buying 34 jerseys if he runs for 2000 yards and we go to the playoffs.

I just thought I'd add to your post on protein supplements. As a rule of thumb if a person is weight lifting, their body requires 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, and no more. In order to figure out how much of a supplement a person needs to take daily they need to know how much protein they're getting from their meals. In other words, if you're 200 lbs you need 200 grams of protein a day, but no more. If you're getting that 200 grams from your daily meals, then any supplement you're taking gets flushed out (as you stated)

I am by no means the morality police, I like everyone else have made mistakes but I am the first to admit when I screw up and appologize. I have never and will never buy a Ricky Williams jersey. He could rush for 3000 yards and I wouldnt buy one.......

We will know soon enough. He's gonna be tested for everything under the sun like once a week if not more.

Yea, under the NFL program, he will be tested for coffe. He could grow breasts and an enormous forehead, and no one would give a damn. Fact is, the NFL substance abuse policy is a joke, and there are Soviet female swimmers with 6 feet shoulders that get away with less than NFL players. They may test often, but they have a substance list the size of white mans "book of really cool dance moves".

(I'm white, please don't even consider posting "OMGWTF THAT'S RACIST").

I, for one agree with this. In fact, my advice to the people who can't seem to get past RW's "unforgiveable transgression" would be to go hug your kids, or your mom, or whomever you're really close to; then think about what's really important in life. Yes, Ricky quit right before TC leaving the Dolphins high and dry. Wanny's incompetence came to a head; and the Fins went 4-12. The majority of last season was a collection of low points for this franchise. And make no mistake my whole family are Dolphin fans. My 17 yr old daughter bought an Escort because it's Teal. But, as you stated earlier; football is entertainment, and what's really important (to me) remained unaffected by Ricky's abrupt retirement. Nor will it be affected by his reinstatement.

Since when is the NFL substance abuse program a joke? I think it's probably the most highly regard of the 3 majors sports. I remember during the congressional hearings Tags and Upshaw were getting nothing but compliments from the congressmen on how good and thorough it is.

first, weight lifting and nutriton is my life so i know a good amount...not all steroids are water..test and d-bol along with anadrol are the most water retention steroids...when lifting weights you should always go by a rule of thumb that you need to take in 1-1.5 grams of protein per per lb of body weight...so if you weight 200 lbs you should take in 200 lbs of protein a day for your muscles...also when on roids, you lose some of what you gained after a cycle mainly b/c of a couple reasons...1) you didnt take anything to bring your natural test levels back to normal, which means you need to do your post cycle therapy for 4 weeks after, from supps like nolva, clomid etc..with low test levels will cause quick muscle loss...2)some of it will be from water, thats a given, but its not as much as you say it sounds like it is..another reason is b/c they are not bringing in enough calories for the body to maintain...while on steroids you want to consume a very large amount of carbs and protein b/c roids cause protein sysnthesis...sure winny is a horrible steroid that damages the tendons, but it is also a cutter and gives you very little water weight...deca is good for your tendons so is EQ..i'm forgetting something that i should be mentioning but i'll remeber later...

Maybe if he is smoking weed again, he would be dumb enough to take roids. The man will be tested all the time. I think you are talking about a gifted athlete who has the ability to gain muscle faster than the normal dude.

Ricky isnt on steroids. He is a gifted athlete, his "set" body weight was at 230 for about 2 years, and he has one of the best trainers in the country.
