a fourth before the draft please and thank you
Jacoby Brisket fetched a 2nd. I think it depends a lot on the skills of the FO doing the wheeling and dealing - in which case, we’d get 6-pack of O’Douls for Tannehill.
I personally think Ryan may be more physically spent and damaged that we have been led to believe.
If you can get anything for him, take it and move on.
But I just have a feeling the last injury has changed his future in the NFL.
Yes it is correct as we paid that amount in signing bonus guaranteed restructure therefore the hit is against the club who paid it. It actually makes it easier to trade him since his cap hit for the club tat takes him will only be around 13MM. Pretty good price for a QB if you think he’s going to help you. Not only does he not cost that much against the new teams Cap, they save that real money. Any qB hungry team that thinks RT is worth a shot only has to hit the cap for like 13 MM for the next two years as that bonus guarantee was spread over 19’ and 20’ which means we take that dead cap the next 2 years. We are paying half his salary for the next team that takes him if he is traded. We take the hit if we cut him post June 1 just for the bonus and are still responsible for the dead cap for the bonus guarantee not the base salary. We are not cap free from RT till 21’.Is that right? If so trade becomes even more real

he seemed fine throwing the ball the last three games.

Absolutely nothing he said was wrong. Just because you think differently to him, doesn't mean you, and everyone else is thinking objectively.Dude. I don’t know if Tannehill stole your girlfriend in High school, banged your mom, or took the last snack pack or what, but you’ve got to chill on this nonsense.
If you want to give away an asset for nothing just because of sour grapes, then you’re still in that Gase/Tannenbaum frame of mind and need to move on. The rest of us will look at something objectively and try to maximize returns on our assets.
