Tell me where Ryan Tannehill had such a bad 1st half

Whats worse than Mark Sanchez,is a Mark Sanchez with a year off.

Mark Sanchez playoff wins in 4 seasons(2009-2012): 4
Miami dolphins playoff wins 18 seasons(1995-2012): 3

so your expectations for a 2nd year qb who only played a full year of qb in college with a crappy online and no running game are extremely high? if you ask me under the circumstances I think he's done pretty damn well. I see improvement and yea there's things he needs work on but he has improved other things I believe he will eventually get it.

OL is decent, run game is fine. Miami just gives up on the run too quickly.

um, the D is carrying Ryan this year in case you haven't noticed, your last 3 wins and 5 of your 6 have been from the D playing really well.

LT had a great first month in 2010 and was awful the rest of the year.

LT games 1-5: 76-435, 5.7 YPC, 3 TDs
LT games 6-15(sat out game 16): 143-479, 3.3 YPC, 3 TDs

by the way, Mark put his team on his back in numerous wins that year- at Miami, at den, at Cle, at Det, vs. Hou,...

yea I never said the d wasn't. I never said Tanny was great and carried the team.

Mark Sanchez put the team on his back and led them to victory with his gripping 100 yard 1td 1int performance.

Wilson's on an overall better team...watch marshawn lynch run...who on our team breaks a tackle? ever?

So you think if we swapped QB Miami wouldn't have a better offense with Wilson this yr over RT?

idk its hard to say honestly...I like Wilson, I think he's a good qb. our oline was terrible early on martin would get pushed back into the qb clabo was getting blown by all the time. its hard for me to say. tannehill might go there and look great who knows.

he didn't put us on his back that game but he had a really good game, it's hard for folks like you to see that b/c of the lack of fantasy #s but those that know the game and actually watched that game understand.

Classic case of didn't even watch the game or has no clue about the game.
He missed easy throws badly! You wanna blame the running game?? GMAFB
Lets be real and call it like it is. he had a terrible first half, and a good second half. You don't have to make up crap to support your opinion of something, this isn't a politics forum!!

You can call it a terrible first half thats your problem.

I showed it wasn't a terrible first half.It could only have been a terrible 2nd quarter because Tannehill lead offense controled 9:10 minutes of the 1st qtr drive one and Lamar failed in the second drive so you can wipe the word "first half "out of your comments or your opinion is pure non-sense.So there were 4 drives in the 2nd QTR. Drive 3 and 4 both in the second qtr were solid drives.5 is the glaring fail drive period.6 there wasn't enough time.

Also I forgot about drive 4 in my original post and just updated it and that drive was run for no yards 3 plus 10 yard passing plays in a row ending in 3-1 and 4th and 1 failures. You can spin all you want about the missed TD's and points left on the field, with a decent running game the game is a huge blowout.

Drive 1, drive 3, and drive 4 were solid!!!!!! 2 was a run fail, 5 was QB fail, 6 there was no time left.

1st drive 15 plays 9:10 drive that started from the 8 that should have at least been 3 points.

2 was a fail on the lack of run game.We got stuffed on 3rd and 1 passed on 4th and 1 (Running game failure)

3rd was a solid drive that ended with a fluke bloop int

4 ended in another 3 and 1 stop on run and a 4th and 1 incompletion.(Running game failure)

5 was the only drive that Tannehill would like back.

6 was a bonus drive where we ran out of time.

Where did I say my expectations were extremely high? I said they were higher than the expectations for our running backs. If that's extremely high, then you really don't understand how mediocre our running game is. I definitely see improvement in tannehill and really hope he has a huge breakout game with 4+ TD's this year.

TWENTY FOURTH in attendance, stop trying to make excuses(and stop the childish insults). Miami is a terrible sports town, that doesn't mean there aren't great fans there but the dolphins have dealt w/ blackouts forever, the marlins can't draw flies, the heat are only drawing now b/c of Lebron and having the best team in the league, do the Panthers still play hockey? even UM football can't draw flies unless FSU is in town.

UM cannot draw big crowds simply because its entire student body is a measly 10,000 students. FSU and UF have 5-8x the amount of alumni Miami has. As for a SOUTH FLORIDA hockey team? Lol that speaks for itself. Almost like opening a bob sledding franchise in Hawaii. Although Panthers games are fun as hell to go to, live hockey is entertaining. I can't remember the last blackout Miami has had, and did you not see the post earlier of the '08 season post shaq and pre LeBron? 8th in the league. And baseball? You couldn't pay me to go to a Marlins game because I hate baseball. It's boring. So much fail in everything you post, it's quite hilarious. Do I need to copy/paste attendance records for you again?

read my above post....it says my point was even elite qbs who been in the league 10+ years have bad halfs and bad games. tannehills in his second year, I expect ups and downs because I knew and understood he was raw when we drafted him.

But you dont want anyone to mention it apparently.

arenas and stadiums are not mostly filled w/ students so that excuse doesn't fly.

Miami hasn't had blackouts b/c your owner has been BUYING the remaining tickets to avoid blackouts. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/09/09/ross-promises-no-blackouts-this-year-in-miami/

did you not see pre shaq and w/ Shaq? one aberration of a year(while you still had a star in wade) means nothing.

I can only hope the Jets keep Sanchez in the mix next year,I cant see them spending that kind of money on him.

Whats worse than the Sanchez and Tebow show is the Geno and Sanchez show, coming to towns near you in 2014.

Wilson has been pressured WAY more than Tannehill.

The bottom line is that nobody can deny that tannehill has the tools. He just doesn't have the "IT" factor. At least not yet. As many good throws as he makes. He makes as many head scratching throws.

We have been down this road for many many years. We've gotten excited about this guy or that.

Tannehill will get another season. Doesn't mean I still wouldn't draft another QB.

College football stadiums are not mostly filled with students for college football games eh? Hmm....wow.
