Who's making excuses? The Red Sox suck right now. They have the worst pen in baseball since early August. And their starting pitching is the same. No timely hits from people who aren't named Ortiz or Ramirez.

You make it seem like Red Sox fans are saying injuries to Wakefield, V-Tek, Clement, Nixon, Foulke, etc are using that as an excuse as to why they aren't going to win this year. Oh wait that was the Yankees fans since May lining up the excuses.

I like the Marlins, I really do.. Miguel Cabrera is a joy to watch, but when someone comes into this thread and makes an asinine comment like that.. all bets are off.

To the educated Marlin fans, best of luck this year.

These pathetic Red Sox, as you call them, with their garbage offense and pitching and pen went 16-2 against the NL East.

The NL on a whole is utterly pathetic, but I'm sure you already knew that.

Also, it's pretty ironic that a Bills fan is mocking another franchise for their titleless streak, isn't it?

yup, the NL is downright garbage this year, but without it the Sox would be a .500 ballclub.

Riiight, the Marlins will get a stadium. Bud Selig is working hard and is hopeful that the Marlins will get a deal done soon.

It would be a shame to shut down a team who has won more championships than these other teams who haven't won a championship since Babe Ruth was in the prime of his career.
 
I love all the Red Sox hate in the threads these past few days. Just wondering where everyone was before all of this? And also if the same people will be here IF the Red Sox ever make the playoffs (whether its this year or in the next years coming). Just wondering.

The truth is there are some people who have talked crap to us Sox fans and have been here no matter what (like FinNYYanksfan13 for example I'm sure I'm forgetting more) whether the Sox won or lost or whether his team won or lost so he's earned his stripes. The others are just coming out of the wood work and it's very funny. Especially since some of the people talking have been Devil Ray and Marlin fans, not that there's anything wrong with rooting for those teams but shouldn't your team you know be winning before you talk?

Anyway nice of all the haters to join in on the bashing, glad to have everyone here and I welcome it. I just hope you all stick around and stay when the other shoe drops.
 
Rookie INF Dustin Pedroia played pretty well in his MLB debut. Went 1 for 3 but hit the ball hard twice and made some nice plays.

so u've seen all of them? u were around when Ruth was playing??

I have seen only 1 but i dont walk aroudn talkign about the ones i havent seen back when i wasn't born
