Another W tonight...

Wade was amazin' and Shaq showed up offensively. We had 5 players in double figures tonight.

The Magic should get another butt kicking from the Heat tonight, I think the Heat are coming into their own

Like the other poster said, they weren't D'ing up that nicely. I didn't see the game so I really can't comment...but you are too optimistic some times, so I'll take his word. I don't call that Maximum Effort though. I said they could be..never said they would be.

You got a good feel for this team? Okay, If you say so. If you predict the way you did the rest of the season, then I'll agree with you.

Miami played very solid D for 48 minutes against Detroit. The vast majority of Detroits points came from outside shooting (which was incredibly good). 33 of theirs points came from 3 pt land. We got out scored 33-3 from 3 pt in this game. And they were shooting lights out with a hand in the shooters face most of the game. That's what makes Detroit so tough. Every starter can shoot it from any spot, and shoot it well, aside from Big Ben who is their defensive enforcer. Along with their great shooting abilty comes speed and quickness, amazing chemistry and unselfish play. We played the best D that you could hope to play against this team. They still pretty well shot lights out but you really can't look at the score in this game to suggest we didn't play well on D.

(Doh! Sec126 already basicly covered my whole post, way to beat me to it)

PS I hope the Magicians are ready to go *poof* at the hands of another Miami Heat torching tonight. :D

Have won with a late comeback IMO isn't really playing well on D.

Like I said man.. It wasn't so much a lack of defense just lights out shooting, which is to be expected from a great team like Detroit. We played them as well as we could on D. I saw no lack of effort as I have in plenty of previous games from Miami.

Then we are pretty f'ed for the playoffs....

Dude...you didn't even see the game.

They played great defense...especially in the 4th....their only lapse came with the second unit in the 2nd quarter....

The Pistons were hitting three's with a guy in their face. There was even one were Toine was on Sheed 3 feet behind the arch and not only slapped his hands twice and then leaned on him...but then put a hand in his face as Sheed proceded to knock down a 30 foot 3....

They played great defense. And the 4th quarter was INSANE defense...INSANE...as in...the best defense probably played all year by anybody in one quarter....

We held detroit to 14 points in the 4th and 9 of them came on contested 3's in the last 3 minutes.

gotta love how wade can get 30 pts without taking 30 shots unlike that other dude who use to play wit shaq

what were his stats when he did play with shaq?
