There is no way that they shoot like that again. They were hitting everything from outside. When wade makes 3 threes you know it's somewhat lucky. We all know wade isn't a 3 point shooter. The whole Heats team was on just like the whole Nets team was on in game 1.

No but he is more than capable of making them in rythme

He doesnt take many 3 point shots, but he can burry them consistantly when he shoots them consistantly

And people are going to say its a homer comment, but when you win 52 games, even in a season where you have injuries piled up left and right you earn the right to make comments like those, its not outragous

It still is kinda homerish. Injuries are part of the game as is fouls. A team should win either way and shouldn't make excuses.

Its not excuses

I dont have to make excuses because we won 52 games anyway

Shaq missed 21 I believe

Wade missed a few

J-Will missed a lot

Mourning missed the end of the season

Posey was gone a while I believe not 100% sure though

Im not saying were going to win the next three or anything, its probally going 6 or 7 games, but im picking my team

Yes in other words he can hit them when he's hot.....who says he'll be hot for the rest of the series. He could go into a shooting slump. That goes for everyone. To say that the heat have a better chance of scoring like that is just stupid. It all matters on who wants it more and who is shooting better.

This series will be very interesting, seeing on which teams show up. I just hope the game 2 Heat show up!!!

OH jeez. Look, I will show you. We have shot like that 3 times before this game.

Game 2 versus the Nets:

52.7% FG 111 Points.

Game 1 vs. Bulls:

48.1% FG 111 Points.

Game 2 vs. Bulls:

52.4% FG 115 Points.

Game 6 vs. Bulls:

49.4% FG 113 Points.

Remember that the Bulls were #1 Defense in the NBA and Wade had trouble against them.

So yeah..we are likely to shoot like that again.

Thing is if Wade isnt hot he wont take the shots

Thats why he doesnt jack up 10 3 pointers every game

Not calling you a homer or saying your making up excuses but i'm just saying that it's part of the game. Injuries are part of the game and that's what happens when u have a team like the Heat ( Alot of older players, shaq, williams,zo) It's not going to change during playoff time, yes they've have time to heal but there still going to be injury proned.

No it is not. it is reality. The Heat ranked #4 in offense and #1 in FG% for a reason.

I already showed you how they shot like that 3 times already before this game in the playoffs.

Of course Injuries are part of the game, but if your injured it does cost you a few games, obviously we won some of the games they were out to.

But If the pistons had Ben Wallace and Billups get hurt for any stretch do you think they would have won nearly as many games? Probally not. The Heat and Nets might be the #1 and #2 seeds if that happend

Yep that's true, when Wade is hot he'll throw up 3-pointers, when he's a little off he'll drive and take short shots.

I don't care what they've done verus another team. Bring up the past nets v. heat of the regular season if you please. The Nets are entirely different the the Bulls. The Nets have Carter, Jefferson and Kidd to run around drive and create problems on offense. You tire a player out on defense thier offense will decline. The Bulls don't have players like that minus maybe gordan but he's still inexpierenced. The Bulls were mainly a jump shooting team.

The Heat is a much better offensive team than the Nets. To say that the Heat is not more likely to shoot like that in a game than the Nets is just blind homerism.

That has nothing to do with their defense.

We are talking about DEFENSE.

The Bulls play it better than the Nets. The Heat did to the Bulls 3 times what they did to the Nets in Game 2.

It has everything to do with it. If you tire an offensive player out on defense his fg% will decline.
