John Hollinger of ESPN had an analysis of Game 5 and came to the conclusion that Detroit is in serious trouble for game 6.

He said that if Detroit had hit their free throws at the same percentage they have all year and the heat done the same...that the difference in the game would have been 1 point.

In his analysis he concedes the intentional fouls the heat gave at the end. if Not..the point differential would have been +6 for the Heat.

In other words..Hollinger says that for a team to be in a desperate situation and to be played even at home...does not bode well on the road.

Tomorrow can't get here soon enough.

No way Wade let's us lose this one.

Fixing time between tonight & tomorrow, here's an interesting UFA:

Tim Thomas!

Talk about a guy who would get open three after open three after open three playing with Shaq & Wade. When Amare comes back, a lot of these contributors for Phoenix won't have a place next year, and I think he's one who won't be re-signed.

Alot of talk from Suns fans is that he is slated to get extended in the offseason.

Thomas is a perfect fit for that team, just like Diaw and Barbosa.

that would be great I think we need a guy who can consistently hit the 3. yes Walker, Williams, Posey and Payton all have good 3 point shots but they aren't always consistent. Williams has been way off lately, Walker has a good game followed by a bad game. Posey is the most consistent 3 point shooter we have

:sidelol:

They just played the replay of the Ben Wallace "block of Shaq...

and as they played it you hear Reggie Miller saying..."Foooouuulllllll...Fooooooouuullll" as they went to commercial.

That wasn't a foul and most everyone knows it.

Shaq got blocked, it happens.

props to detroit for the game, but that was a foul. if they let shaq "block" like that in game 6, it'll be all good.

btw, PhinsTD, props to you for sticking by your team in a hostile environment.

in my opinion, people get away with a lot more body contact on shaq than anyone else--and you have to admit wallace had his body on shaq's body (or maybe shaq's man is considered a part of his uniform?). while shaq will occasionally get away with an offensive foul, how many trips down the floor do you not see the player guarding him throw both arms into shaq's back with no call? i realize you can't move shaq like you can move others, but a foul is a foul isn't it?

That was a foul.

It seems that "most everybody" thinks it was a foul including the TNT crew.

Anyway, I hope they play it like 5 million times from now till the game. I am sure SHAQ will get a kick out of it.
