The Miami Heat Are World Champs Baby Yeah!!!

FOR ALL HEAT FANS:

This championship is for all of you fans who were there when we drafted RONY SEIKALY #1....

Who saw Coach Ron Rothstein coach our first win....

Who saw the first ever Heat team that went to the Playoffs with the team consisting of GLEN RICE and his awesome 3's, Kevin Edwards, Grant Long, Rony Seikaly, Steve Smith, Willie Burton, Bimbo Coles, Keith Askins and others...

To those who can remember ALAN OGG and his heroics :)

To those who saw Rex Chapman drain what seemed like a Million three's in order to beat the Bulls in that exciting playoff game...AND they had JORDAN!

Who saw the Heat get the GREATEST COACH IN NBA HISTORY Pat Riley and see him trade away most of our core players...

To see us get 'ZO and Tim Hardaway...

Guys who tried and never gave up like Dan Majerle, PJ Brown...

Seeing us through the years of DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPS and yet HEARTBREAKING playoff losses to the dreaded Knicks...year in and year out...

When 'Zo sadly went down with kidney disease...

To those who stuck with the team when we were struggling to gain an identity again...

To those who saw us draft DWYANE WADE...#5 in round one...

Saw this team get a resurgence thanks to players like Lamar Odom and others along with Wade...

Until we got SHAQ and Wade became the next Jordan...

CONGRATULATIONS MIAMI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nice post - it's been hard not to think about all the seasons going back to very first one - it's been a long road - the hope of harold minor being the next m.j. and now finally seeing that dream come true with d-wade - all the hard work players like grant long and keith askins put in - i was a big willie burton fan too - this win is more than just a championship - it's been an 18 year journey for me...

POSEY WAS A MONSTER...

I TOLD YOU SO..I told you this guy was Bruce Bowen junior....this bruce bowen hit big three's and dribing layups when it counts!!!!!!!!!
