Smith isn’t even a consideration in your opine?I think Either Pitts, Chase or Waddle will be the pick....

You are right. Hard to say.Hard to say... we have not seen him play yet.
Nor have we seen what the rookie will bring.
Tagging a star player did not go over well in most cases. Talk to Landry. You do realize that WR has become the 3rd highest paid position in the NFL. That is right top WRs make more then top LTs now. Tagging Fuller will be like 20+mill after next season. This is why I am taking WR or Pitts if you feel he brings WR type impact. I think you will see a trend in WRs going higher for some time. Getting a top WR on a rookie deal also gives the biggest bang for your buck (outside QB/edge rusher). Don't over think it. WR/Pitts gives you top value talent and bang for your buck at 6 in this draft because we are not going QB and there is not an edge rusher worth 6th overall.
He's on a one year deal... for now.You are right. Hard to say.
Like I said, we are all pretend GM here.
Landry is a punk. Landry always was a punk... Lots of ego, not a whole lot of game really.Tagging a star player did not go over well in most cases. Talk to Landry.

Not saying it is either or. I feel there are pass catchers worth 6 in this draft for Mia. Really wish there was a dominant edge guy but there just isn't. To me the I have 4 guys I am looking at for 6 Pitts/Chase/Smith/Sewell maybe Waddle. I downgrade Sewell just a shade because of Miami's situation. We just took Jackson in the first last year and I am high on him kid has the feet to be a very good LT just wasn't physically ready to be a day one starter due to missing a year for bone marrow transfer. Now I don't think the line is good enough yet but I am looking at 2nd round there at Center or another T/G to fight it out with Hunt and looser kicks inside. For Oline I am a believer in 5 above average to good is better then 2 elite and 3 below average.Several things...
1) We'll bring in a young receiver. It isn't either/or.
2) Quite a few of the teams who've ponied up big money on WRs have lived to regret that decision. Jones in Atlanta has been a cap buster for instance.
3) There isn't a WR worth that six either.
What punk? Yeah, he talks a lot during the game, but I have not heard anything in the locker room or in practice saying he is a bad teammate.Landry is a punk. Landry always was a punk... Lots of ego, not a whole lot of game really.
I'm glad he's gone and has become someone else's problem.
Landry has been in the NFL for 7 years and has scored more than 6 TDs... once. What punk? Yeah, he talks a lot during the game, but I have not heard anything in the locker room or in practice.
As for his 'problem', now we all know it had more to do with Gase than Landry.
I'm strongly in favour of bringing in a receiver this year, but the only ones who might be worth the #6 pick are Pitts and Chase... and we already have two receivers on our roster who resemble Chase and a TE who resembles Pitts. Not saying it is either or. Not taking Parsons at 6. And it is just not the locker room stuff. He is my Clowney of this draft pure physical talent always leaving you wanting more. Would roll the dice at 18.I'm strongly in favour of bringing in a receiver this year, but the only ones who might be worth the #6 pick are Pitts and Chase... and we already have two receivers on our roster who resemble Chase and a TE who resembles Pitts.
I would have stayed at 12. If we moved back up for Waddle or Smith, we screwed up.
My list at 6 is Pitts, Sewell, and Parsons. Big fast, talented men with no holes in the game.
If we gave up an extra one to take stickman or a slot receiver? Hoo boy...
A couple of things on Smith...Not taking Parsons at 6. And it is just not the locker room stuff. He is my Clowney of this draft pure physical talent always leaving you wanting more. Would roll the dice at 18.
Now I would take Smith at 6. While yes he is very light and that is an outlier for sure. But his film is also an outlier. And it wasn't just the great stats his film looks like a man playing against boys. (Yes I know usually you think he is just bigger stronger faster with that saying) But that us what his film is like. It is just ridiculous how often Smith is open and I mean 3+ yards open and against all types of coverage. It is just very hard to find a comparison for Smith. You just look at him and think Jesus how is he doing this he he not some physical freak yet he makes guys look bad. His natural football IQ and feel for the WR position may be the best I have seen coming out of college. Just watch how often he gets a DB turned the wrong way with just little effortless moves. I guess we will see how it all translates to the NFL but IMO Smith has a high floor (because of his +NFL level routes and feel for the WR position which is often underrated people like big and fast) he may not gave the highest ceiling as some but I feel has a higher chance of reaching.
Over / Under 500 dongs? If you say so...
I was a high school referee for 20 years and I've been around hundreds of locker rooms and that stuff happens ALL the time.
Yes, only I’m starting to think Atlanta Is taking Pitts at 4....and Chase goes at 5....my thread was is coming true!Totally agree. Fuller is a one year plan. If he balls out, then we cannot affort him. He is not in our long term plan.
We need a receiver in this draft. I categorize Pitts as a receiver.

Here are the top ten highest paid WRs in the game...
You know what most of these teams have in common? Yup, they aren't very good... and almost all of them have too much money tied up in their offense... which is why they aren't very good.
It's been said that WRs make more money now... and for the most part, I think that's a mistake. Most of these GMs are on the hot seat, or have already been discarded. Many times, when you chase the latest trends, you just make a fool of yourself.
edit: btw... Will Fuller is 24th on this list and as everyone knows... only signed for one year and has no long term cap consequences.
