Guys,

Seriously, How much damage have these 2 idiots done to this franchise? I honestly think Saban is the next great coach in this league, but with what those monkeys have done...It'll be 3 years before we're competing for an AFC East title. Think about the wonderful moves Bozo and Ronald made while running the ship:

* A 2nd rounder for A.J. Feeley? Are you kidding me? The Pats spent a 2nd round choice on C. Dillon. We got A.J. Freakin Feeley? But I will say he's played incredible since he's been here.:shakeno:

On a scale of 1 - 10 this move gets a 2

* Eddie Moore 49th over all? Huh? I had 4 draft publications and the highest he was rated was in the 5th round. He's played well since we got him though. :shakeno:
On a scale of 1 - 10 that move rates a 2

* A 4th round pick to move up 1 - I REPEAT - 1 spot to select V. Carey? What the F**K is that? Call Minnesota's bluff for Christ's sake!!!! WHat's the worst that happens? We draft the best athlete on the board like you're supposed to do? But I will say V. Carey has set the world on fire so far. :shakeno:
I rate that move a 4 on a scale of 1 - 10.

* A. Ogunleye for Marty Booker and a 3rd rounder (which became L Gordon)? Umm....I'm sorry, but at the time A.O. was one of the top 5 DE's in the league...PERIOD!! You can't get a first rounder for him? Good DE's come along just slightly more frequently than Haley's F**king COMET BUT YOU GET A 3rd and a slightly-above-average-receiver for a top 5 DE? But I will say Booker and Gordon have played awesome since they've been here. :shakeno:

I rate that move a 3

OK...You get the point...I'm sure thare are MANY other gems you guys can recall. But the bottom line is...We're not goinna be a GOOD team for at least 2 more years. Thanks to Saban we'll be competetive..But we won't be GOOD. Just my opinion.

what if feeley tears it up this year? What if careys a monster Left tackle for us, for the next 7-10 years? what if booker catches 7td's this year with 800 yards?

I think you're right about moore, but otherwise, hold your tongue til after this year.

The repercussions of the Wanspiel era are just now taking hold. This is why I feel the same way about how long it will take to get back on top of our division. You don't feel the impact of bad drafts until about two years later when all those bums finally get cut. We've had about five lousy drafts.

Saban4Prez.....
Hold my tongue? *EDIT* In case you don't know...This is a FORUM!! We're allowed to post here. Like I said at the end of the message...It's MY OPINION!! CLOWN.

And by the way...The only thing Feeley is gonna tear up will be his ACL while holding on to the ball 4 seconds to long on an all out blitz. Booker will still be AVERAGE, even with 7 TD's. I don't care what anyone says.

Carey has the best chance of any of' em of producing.

ADMIN EDIT: This may be a forum; however, there is no place for personal insults. Do it again and you'll be on a small vacation.

Dude simmer down, you will get booted for bypassing the profanity filter faster than anything.

Simmer down friend. It's supposed to be a fun time coming here and posting. Not getting all upset over a team that doesn't even know you exist.

DZimmer000, go somewhere else with that 1) negative crap of the PAST and 2) name calling.

Or else Terry Tate is gonna have to tackle you.

Surtain

How about Bumstedt and Loserman handing out $21 million to Reggie Howard who got scorched on Monday night? The Dolphins could have used that money to resign all pro corneback Patrick Surtain. I never heard of Reggie Howard until the Dolphins signed him. The usual reaction is when it comes to acquiring players by Bumstedt and Loserman: Who? I wish Nick all the luck in the world because he is going to need it to clean up this mess Bumstedt and Loserman left behind. Go Phins!

HAL20001963 --
I couldn't agree more. "WHO?" was almost always my reaction. Good call. Saban has done more right in 9 months than WanSpeil did in 4 years.

The horse is dead. STOP BEATING IT.

Please find one team that has not missed on any trades, or draft picks in the last 5 years. Please, just one.

I love it how the bashers of the world try to make their case by:

1. only pointing out the negatives
2. proclaiming some moves to be negatives as if the entire world would agree with them.

Where would this team be without Chambers, McMichael, Jeno James, Booker, Boston, Ricky Williams, etc, etc? How about the good performances that we have seen from Chester, Seau, etc, etc? How about draft picks like Will Poole?

If Carey turns out to be a good starting LT, a late first and late 4th is a bargain.

Booker is average? He is a former probowl receiver. Ogun tog 5? Give me a break. David Bowens is nearly as good as Ogun.

The same publications that had Eddie Moore rated as a 5th probably had Zach rated as not drafted and Jason Taylor as a late round pick. I have also seen mock drafts with him going in the 3rd round. Here is a quote from after the draft:

Miami, concerned about getting younger and more efficient at outside linebacker, was fortunate was find Eddie Moore on the board at No. 49. Moore's quickness should help.

If Feeley turns out to be the starter or even a good backup, a 2nd round pick is not too high of a price. Please do a count on the success rate of 2nd round QBs.

Below are the QBs taken in the 1st or 2nd roound since 1990. I give incomplete grades for any taken in 2002 or later (too early to call). Before that, here are the totals:

Good starter - 8
Some success/backup - 5
Flops - 22

One final point. Any Dolphin fan that claims the Wanny era completely sucked and had no redeeming value (especially seasons 2000 - 2003) should have to pay back the time they spent watching the 41 victories of that era by watching the games played by the Bills in the same era, especially the 39 loses.

I think Wanny and Rick are paying the price for poor decisions

I think both persons are paying a price for poor decisions. Wanny does have a head coaching job, but he will never make the money there he could have in the NFL. And Rick is employed, but likely will never take a general manager job. Sadly, everyone loses from some poor decision making, but I reserve judgement on some of the players you mentioned until at least this year. Feeley will shock me if he performs well this year, but I do hope he does. I have more hope for Carey and Booker. I think Moore and Gordon will be traded or no longer on the team in the near future. You didn't mention Whitney and Smith. And a whole host of other poor draft choices.
