Thoughts on Replacing Brandon Gibson?

If Gibson is fully healthy, keep him for sure. Tbh I'd rather have Hartline replaced and I like him a lot lol

replace a wr coming off two straight 1000 yard seasons? One of a handful of Dolphin receivers to ever do that?

This forum cracks me up

Gibson won me over, and I was very opposed to his signing - not because I thought he sucked, but I wanted us to go after one of the top draft prospects. So no, I don't think we should get rid of him, like I said he won me over by earning his spot on the roster and an injury that doesn't appear to be career threatening isn't sufficient to dump him.

If we get Keller, Gibson and Binns back healthy there's no need for any WR help, IMO.

Anyone try and contact the doctor from Oklahoma? Maybe the "Jesus shot" could do the trick.

Gibson was definitely our best WR and was Tannehill's favorite target when he got hurt. I look forward to him coming back next season.

If Mike Wallace and Emmanuel Sanders together didn't work for Pittsburgh with a future HoF QB, why would they work well together in Miami on a much higher pay scale?

I think we have much bigger concerns with our team than WR. If we replace our broken offensive line, the WR and TE will have more opportunities to break coverages and create gaps.

somebody said "our receivers are just fine"; see.. that sounds like a fan who's become ok with losing.. Confucius said: "in today's NFL - to be better, one must get better".

Yep.. Lol if you think that's that ridiculous, I rarely post stupid **** like that, and you've been here all of what? 2 years? Welcome to the offseason. And where did I suggest just outright replacing him. I'd keep both players but I was simply stating I think Gibson does more for our team than Hartline who is average. He has good hands usually and awareness, a great team player, but the fact of the matter is- he is not dynamic, just a chain mover than no DC is scared of

Gibson was the one free agent receiver that came in and showed heart and made plays unlike his overpaid counterpart from Pittsburgh. He is cheap and did fine, unless injured he should be a dolphin.
Hate him as a starter but as a slot guy he did all the right things

Or a fan who understands the team has much more pressing needs.

use free agency for the oline and draft another wr and te early. gibson was very good till he went down but adding another speed wr like a marquis lee or a te like ebron would just make the offense that much better. if we can fix the oline in fa i really hope we draft skill position players early . it still makes me sick we had 5 picks in the first 3 rds last year and didnt draft a single playmaker for the offense...but no use crying over spilled milk.

Wouldn't really have mattered too much with our o-line anyways. CB (2nd & 3rd round) was a true need last year as well as we did not know how Grimes would return from his injury. We had also picked up Keller and Gibson in FA.
